  1. Hey Pooh! Almost at 2 month mark , down 46 pounds. Getting nervous though, the weight loss is really slowing down .

  5. Hi Kell & Dawn! I was in your shoes not that long ago. my surgery date was oct 29th. I have my 4 week follow up with the surgeon tomorrow. any questions just ask, that's what we are all here for !

  7. I know exactly how you are both feeling. You're going through a lot of emotions right now. Everyday it will get better, trust me.

  11. I'm 3 weeks out. I can't have any breads or meats yet. My surgeon allows his patients to have pasta, as long as you chew very well. I've had no problems. Down 30 pounds.
  12. I had a little bit of mashed potatoes, little bit of squash, green beans, and a deviled egg. I can't have any meats yet or breads. I didn't mind not having the other foods , the spoonfuls of the foods I listed completely filled me up. It was a great feeling that I could easily say NO to all that food!

  17. Congrats! I was thinking the band at 1st also, but after going to the orientation I learned the failure rate of the band is pretty high. I had RNY 10/29. Down 28lbs! Feeling better every day! Good luck with everything!

  23. On week 3, down 28lbs!!! . This week I was able to have half a scrambled egg, low sugar oatmeal, and tuna with mayo. Everything seems to be going well. How's everyone doing?
