Okay I asked cause I've been dealing with that as well, so yesterday I told my doc and she prescribed me a Phenegren pill for night, and Zofran which is a dissolving pill for daytime. These really help. Yes, the protein is an issue for me too...I need to get some more powder. Oh and about the 100's I too am so excited and READY, to get there! That's my first goal. I go back to work in 2 1/2 wks so let's hope I will be there. Hey Rhonda, my doctor said just make sure it's finely chopped, and moist and eat slow. Glad you tried it.- My Pouch Is Trippen
I wii have to admit that when this conversation first started I really did not have any pouch craziness that I thought I could tell. Then I went to the doctor today and told her that I got real nauseous after drinking Water. Then she said, was it cold and I said of course. So now I'm aware that my pouch is crazy acting also. Just need to watch the cold stuff for awhile, she said it only does that in the beginning stage of the pouch. So good news it gets better along the way! HURRAY!- October Surgery Dates
I agree about not being able to get all your fluids down, last night I was drinking water and apparently drank it to fast and stomach was hurting soooo bad for about 20 minutes. Finally I made myself throw up the water and I immediately felt better. I guess I forgot about the sip slowly rule, as I was enjoying the cold water. Now how am I to get all my fluids in when I have to deal with things like this? I'm praying that will never happen again.
