My surgery is May 17th and I'm having it done in Clackamas Oregon!! Can't wait!!

My mom is the same way. Every time she goes somewhere like to her hair dresser she calls me and tells me tha ther hairdresser knows someone who had it done and all your hair is going to fall out!!! Or she starts in with the are you sure you want to do this. Ya know it is forcer!! No really!! I'm 50 years old I think I know if I want to really do this or not. I told her the other day. Enough! I'm having this surgery and nothing you can say or do will stop me. She was like well I'm just worried and I to,s her that's ok but she needs to quit. My surgery is in a little over 2 weeks.

You can't say it will be ok cuz there can always be problems with any surgery you might have but know this that the surgeons in this day and age have been doing the surgery now for along time and they are very well taught. I hope this will help you! Good luck to you and your husband!!

I'm sorry your husband is not supportive!! My husband is so supportive he said on Friday when I start my liquid diet that he will do all the cooking!! I'm lucky!!

My liquid diet starts may 3. We have a two week liquid diet at Kaiser.

I think I start my liquid diet on May 3. That is one part I'm not looking forward to.

Thank you for adding me!! My biggest thing that I want to do after surgery is go to Disneyland and be able to walk around without my back and feet hurting. That and I look forward to living a new healthy life.
