  1. Car hit me when I was driving past Kmart in Monroeville. I was in outside lane and they were pulling out fast from Kmart towards the mall. I was driving away from mall. My hand is swollen and cut a little. Back hurts. Car got towed. I will hear from nationwide Wednesday or Thursday. Ems checked me out. Said I was okay. Blood pressure was high. I just hope that my insides are okay. Lol. My back hurts. Stephanie
  2. Yup! Sucked big time! Stephanie
  3. I started my period at my normal time after surgery. Lasted 3 weeks. Stephanie
  4. I am doing a turkey ham for Christmas. Stephanie
  5. I have UHC. I needed a 2 year history of my weight. 6 month diet lifestyle class. I had my surgery on Nov. 2nd and finally just got all my bills! Stephanie
  6. Way to go! 6 pounds away for me! Stephanie
  7. I tried the mango peach one (I think that was the one) I had it 2 days before my surgery. I liked it. Made my mouth dry. It was in a glass bottle. I have not tried it since. I want to but haven't made it to the store to buy it yet! Stephanie
  8. So I tried white tuna sashimi today for lunch and it came right back up! My pouch didn't agree with it! I really want some yummy sushi. Stephanie
  9. I tried making one this morning before work. I smelled it. It sucked. Lol. Stephanie
  10. We need to go protein bar and protein drink shopping! Lol. I was never able to do any powdered proteins. The low calorie boost aren't that bad! But the one I bought today was great! Stephanie
  11. I can't say I am fatigued at all. But I sure do get hunger pains! I think it is the fact that I am still having a very hard time getting in my Protein. I talked to NP on Wednesday and she just said Snacks between meals help. I think I finally found a pre made Protein shake that I like so I hope that helps me! It has just been this past 2 weeks with the hunger pains and it drives me nuts. Stephanie
  12. Please add me! My username is starrrlov and my email is skatlyncope@gmail.com. Stephanie
  13. I am six weeks post op. I asked my nurse at my checkup today if I can have orange juice or oranges. She said not yet. My question I can't believe I didn't ask her is when can I? Any ideas? Stephanie
  14. I had my surgery on Nov. 2nd. Unlike most people I did not start my period right after my surgery. My period started Nov. 15th. And it is still there. It is really lite but is still going! Is this normal?! Stephanie
  15. BOOST is the only canned one i can do but makes my mouth super dry. i have tried the nectar and i hate the smell of that too! i did like the isopure in the glass bottles but that make my mouth dry. but i think that is going to be my only option!
  16. It is so hard to get in my protein. I can not do most protein drinks. I have tried powdered and caned. I like the boost calorie smart ones but they have only 16g of protein. I tried unflavored protein in food and it really makes me sick. I think about it and the smell. Ugh! I try to eat as much meats as I can and other protein stuff. Greek yogurt doesn't agree with me recently and I am afraid to eat string cheese after getting sick on my milk. I got a pure protein bar today and it has 30g of protein. The taste it good for me. Just taking small bites all day. I hope that helps me! Stephanie
  17. I eyed up the Jello and should have gotten it. I might stop there on my lunch and get it. I work right across the street! I loved my egg! I like eating chicken. I like crab meat and shrimp too! Stephanie
  18. I ate the whole thing and so far I am okay! Lol. Stephanie
  19. I forgot my lunch box at home today! It has all my goodies for the day. I did have a can of chili and 2 cups of peaches that are still hard to get down in my car. I bought some hard boiled eggs from sheetz. Never had them since my surgery so wish me luck. I do have half a boost Protein shake left in my fridge at work so I hope that helps too! Ugh. Stephanie
  20. I am still not sure what I owe for the surgery itself. I get one bill telling me $35 from the doctors. That is if I read it correctly. Then online on UHC it says $176. I have not received anyone in the mail from my hospital yet showing that balance. Then I just gotta pay for all the other little things. Didn't turn out that bad overall. Stephanie
