  1. I just made a protein shake. It is called Elite. Maybe $22. Per 2lb container. But yumm....
  2. My dr said the ones I had were ok as they were adult ones, however I am most likely finding something different as I am beginning to not like the gumminess. Lol... Walmart has the b complex liquid that is great.
  3. Thanks ladies. I will just keep up with my vitamins for now. Love my vitafusion gummies and b-complex sublingual. Definately makes all the difference in how I feel. I was late taking it tody and was dragging butt something fierce.
  4. Same here. I have struggled with my weight all my life. I have had the band placed, where I lost weight and regained it and was unable to lose again. I struggled with exercise programs and weightloss programs. When I spoke with my surgeon about making the revision, he was up front and honest with me about how the band had failed so many. He is a super busy man doing approx 6-8 Rny surgery's alone weekly. But still takes the time to explain and be there for his patients! If I could have screamed off the mountain tops about my surgery I would have. I had my surgery on the 18th and have no regrets. My husband is obsessed with food, and I didn't realize how bad until this surgery. It's definately something to be proud of accomplishing since so many don't have the nerve to even consider it! I was up front with people. Basically told them it was my body, it was my life, if they had anything negative to say about my embark, don't bother wasting the extra breath. Lol..... After losing my dad and his sister to cancer in 2010, I was all about being there for everyone but me. I told my PA earlier this year, this was my year and I will do all I can to feel better about me! This was my first big step......
  5. Tmorgan, wishing you the best today, as well as all the other surgeries this week! Welcome to the loser side :-)
  6. I hear ya. It's only been since Thursday for me, but being down this road before with the lap band I'm so ready for a different flavor in my mouth. I go to post op friday. Hoping for a miracle lol
  7. Thanks fr putting my mind at ease..... I was freaking a lil but but that's the color so I think I'm good....
  8. So my dr. Removed my drain prior to me leaving the hospital Friday, surgery was Thursday. Still draining a bit, has anyone else experienced this?

  13. So far so good here. The EAS advantage shakes go easy...... Went and walked at the grocery store tonight with my hubby. Surgery was Thursday. Thankful for the nice weather today to get the fresh air as well as my Walmart nightgowns hehe......
  14. I had the revision as well. If you aren't taking anything in that would give you a thicker bm, I'm not surprised. I was very watery today. Have had eas advantage protein shakes, broth, sugar free Popsicle. I am having my hub take me to the store to pick out some cream soups to get some calories in. I am sure with your concerns that the surgical team would not be against a phone call good luck to you
  15. I have had a good almost 24 hrs being home. Got to walk outside for a lil bit. Oh the gas has been wonderful. Not going to lie. I am touch n go with my pain meds. But since I just had surgery Thursday I think I'm doing well Hope you are too Definately will be better after the drain is out. I was thankful I didn't have to keep mine in.
