  9. Sara I went through the same feeling. It's hard to tell. 9 days out today and I really have to make myself eat, I don't have that sensation yet. Push yourself to drink though. You don't want to dehydrate. I got a little nervous because my skin on my face seemed extra dry, but then I remembered how the nutritionist told me about urine color to make sure your fluid intake is good.... As long as it is light in color you are good.
  10. Lol Bird best of luck to you I am 9 days post op. aside from a lil soreness, I'm doing well. I just walked a mile and half 2 days in a row. I am down 13 lbs today. See you on the losers side :-)
  11. Bird the one I had was a big jug that you chose a flavor pack and mixed with water and the stuff. It took about an hour to kick in after I finished it all but be prepared to sit on the throne for an hour lol..... Hope ya have wifi! And honestly some moist wipes were quite soothing after
  12. Make sure if anything u have your protein drinks and Popsicles at home for when u go home. Between the breathing tube and endoscopy, I barely had a voice. 12 hours after surgery I was given the ok for a Popsicle. I was in heaven. My pouch didn't tolerate jello.
  13. Ps. The refried beans with melted shredded cheese is very yummy and filling
  14. I am 8 days. And I walked a mile and a half today in 22 minutes. My doctor was amazed with my progress in 8 days. I am not one to cry or allow others to help me, so I guess I forced myself. I do have some soreness, but rapid blast liquid Tylenol is a great thing.
