  3. I had my surgery with Dr. Luis Reyes in Mcallen, he has also been giving me my fills. If your interested here is his number. Good Luck. I have also heard of a fill doctor in Reynosa, Mexico, his name is Dr. Felipe Cantu. Dr. Reyes # is (956) 630-4161.
  4. Hi, I had my surgery June 22, 2006, a year and 2 months ago and I still have port pain, doctor says it is normal. But what caught my attention is that you said you worked for an elementary for autistic children. Is the whole school just for children with autism? I have a child with high functioning autism, and I was just curious about your school. Where is it located at?
  5. I had a hiatal hernia repaired and my gallbladder removed all during my lap band surgery. A week before my lap band surgery, my Dr. did an upper GI, which showed the hernia and stones in my gallbladder.3 surgeries all at once... My surgery date was June 22, 2006. Until now no problems..
  6. Jessie45, Try asking Medicare/Medicaid that if you had lap band surgery in Texas, if they would pay for it...Give it a try.......
  7. Serena, Sorry to hear about your insurance. No, I am not from Penn. I'm just a huge loyal fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers...I am from Texas.....
  8. Serena, If you dont mind me asking, what state are you from?
  9. Serena, I also have Medicaid. They picked up the remaining balance. But after the 3rd. fill, I have to pay full price because neither medicare or medicaid pay. My doctor charges $80.00 for fills, for patients who have medicare and/or medicaid.
  10. My Medicare paid everything..And also the first 3 fills. I am from Texas. I do not know how other states work it out...
  11. I had my lap band with Dr. Luis Reyes in Mcallen, Texas. He is wonderful. He and his partner Dr. Camacho, really spent quaility time with you before surgery and after surgery. Mcallen, Texas is about 10 minutes away from the Us/Mexico border. Across the border is Reynosa, Mexico. Anyway just thought I would put the word out that Dr. Luis Reyes is terrific....:clap2:
