  4. Okay I'm only at two weeks out but I can't do the puree foods...the texture in my mouth just makes me nauseous!!! But I know I need to eat something...I'm so tired of mashed potatoes and applesauce, grits make me sick and I just can't do the shakes. But I know I need protein pronto!!! Any suggestions?
  5. I'm about two weeks out and I thought something was wrong because I love water but I would keep getting a pain in the center of my chest when I would drink it. So I see it's not just me. So for fear of becoming dehydrated I started eating shaved ice yesterday along with my crystal light drinks. Never did I imagine it being so hard to get down one 16 oz drink! Oh something else that helped in that first week was letting my water get to room temp.
  6. I have always been very busty too!!! I started wearing a bra way back in third grade way before I began to really gain weight. I wouldn't mind going down to the D's somewhere because at least then I could buy a bra in a regular store.
  7. My questions to the people reading this would be, after surgery were you in a lot of pain? - I had my surgery 8/20 and was in a lot of pain and for me meds were not working. So I was very upset coming on here really helped reading others post and getting support because I was beginning to regret my decision. Did they weigh you in the pre-op area before surgery? -Yes I was weighed in pre-op I weighed in at 310.5 as of now I'm at 283.5 What were you most surprised about after your surgery? -How long it takes me to drink one dang on bottle of Water and the complete lack of appetite!!! What happened to you that you didn't expect after surgery? -I started my period too and that really upset me! I was already in pain, couldn't reach well to clean myself and now I had this to deal with.
  8. Well I have some to spare I just don't want to lose them all!!!
  9. Okay I had my surgery 8/20 and the las time I checked I had lost like 25lb which is great. My only problem is I feel like I'm only losing weight in my breast!!! Did anyone else experience this?
  10. I will be more than happy to get past the puree phase...it is horrible I can't eat anything!!! So I'm stuck with shakes, applesauce, mashed potatoes and just recently added grits.
  11. Thanks everyone!!! I'm feeling a lot less regretful already!!!
  12. I have had a lot of problems with gas!!! Oh and indigestion!!! I never thought about that being why my back was hurting. I was connecting to where they had the drain at. They gave me some stuff in the hospital and I have taken gaviscon. I have some gas gel pills I can try too. My husband is scared for me to take anything he is very cautious.
  13. Well I hope that's it...and congratulations on your release back to the chiropractor!
  14. Thanks I'm going to call doctor on Monday just to be sure the back pain is okay. And as for liquids and protein maybe I'll just stick to the shakes for awhile.
  15. Thanks that helps a lot. Is the back pain normal or should I be notifying my doctor? Or is this another one of the stages I just have to suffer through?
  16. Hello everyone I had my surgery 8/20 and I am miserable and in so much pain. I know I'm not getting the amount of liquid I'm supposed to but it always feels stuck in my chest. And food just forget about it!!! I wasn't informed about the drain before hand and that site hurts horribly all the way thru to my back. I can't laydown and relax. So far this has been a TERRIBLE experience!!!
