I got my approval from the insurance. I'm hoping my date will be in February too. I received my approval letter from my insurance company and it said Feb 15th on there, but my dr hasn't actually given me a date yet. I meet with him Jan24th.

You will love having the machine. You will feel so much better. I went thru several masks to find one comfortable enough for me. Now I wear it every night. I travel with it. Even if I'm not in bed but feeling like I'm gonna fall asleep, I go to bed just so I can wear it. Good luck to you.

A friend of mine had the band done in Mexico and was very successful! However she did get sick a lot. She found a fill station in the US for her post op fills. When I was looking into it, I found out that most of the surgeons there (Mexico) taught the surgeons in the US. Keep doing ur research but I hope this helps.

I really hope you feel better soon. I too have kidney stones and pass the all the time, I I have one now so I understand ur pain! I also have 2 stones right now in the right kidney and each of them are the size of golf balls. Because of that I have to postpone my surgery. I have to have surgery to remove them next week. They have to cut me from the back then cut into the kidney to her them. Wish me luck. I hope you pass them soon, the pain is terrible. If the pain doesn't ease up for me by tomorrow I'm going to the ER myself. Good luck to you. Hang in there!

I have only my EGD to do next week then I wait for approval. Because of another surgery I have to have in September I won't be able to do my WLS til beginning of next year. ????. Is there any advice anyone can give me on what to do ahead of time to prepare and think ahead before surgery? Thanks
