  1. It's manageable if it has happened so don't panic if it has, your doctor can work it out I know because I have asked, as this was my main reason for having surgery xx
  2. I needed gas and air my blood pressure dropped and blood sugar went through the floor???
  3. Hi, mine have been awful very very painful where I'm in bed for the first 2 days and really heavy and I get light headed and tired, bought extra Iron to see if that will help :-) oh and surgery delayed it too, I used to start around the 14th ish every month now it's like the 24-25th
  4. Can I ask has anyone had what i can only discribe as what I would imagine a heart attack pain to be like in the middle of your chest? And its not dumping as ive not been able to eat?
  5. There are 14lbs to a stone.. Hang on will try work it out lol
  6. Sugar can't harm you it justs makes you dump! Which I believe is awful the bubbles/fizz on the other hand you may well be able to handle, but you could do yourself so much damage without knowing it, you could damage/ stretch your new stomach which may make you very ill or affect you loosing weight. I wouldn't risk it just for a fizzy drink :-) x
  7. Just realised I replied to your post not the thread, sorry don't come on here much xx

  11. And I'm only 6 weeks out only lost 47 lb got quite a bit to go yet!
  12. You should be able to have everything, moderation is the whole point of any bariatric surgery. I have pasta most days I'm 6 weeks post op. I've lost 3 stone (42lb) 4 stone to go .I serve every meal in a little ramakin with two table spoons of food in. We need to have a balanced diet and gain control of our mind. Refined sugar isn't on our menu, but a LITTLE pasta with fish, meat and sauce....no worries. The hardest part of this whole process is learning how to eat again but eating right! Xx
  13. Me too band to by pass, had surgery on 15 oct, I've been nowhere haven't even got dressed! Been in awful pain. Have any of you guys got like a concave hollow where your port was? My previous surgeon has bad reputation and made a bit of. Mess of me :-(
  14. You will feel so much better when your rid of it xxx get well soon x
