So at my appointment today my doc gave me a laminated card. So if by chance I go out to eat and can not find something on the regular menu.. It stated that I have had surgery and am unable to eat full portions of food. It asks that they please allow me to eat from the children's menu, senior menu or be able to fix a smaller portion plate.
The card has all of her contact info, the practice info and my info

Feel great, I can step out with confidence. Back to work and zomg the energy is amazing!
Size 30 to 18

I'm down 90 lbs. 4X tops-24 pants now L/XL tops and size 8 jeans. Highest Weight Jan 16, 2012 278- surgery date 5/16/12- weight 262- as of last Tues 7-14-12 188 lbs (I only weigh on Tues)!!! I'm about 18 lbs from goal! I can't believe how heathy I feel... I can breath, walk, play with my kids without worrying about my heart!!! (my dad passed 20yrs ago @ 46yrs old he was a big guy...more to love... I'm 43 now and will be here for my kids 4 boys 5-17.)

I had lost about 20 lbs already in the first pic. Down a total of 70 lbs now.

So I saw my surgeon for the first time today and wow what a great monday I got a date sept 18 so excited I still have to do all my pre op testing so if that goes as planned ill be getting surgery then and if everything goes smooth with insurance

Had a few bumps but Im ok so far. Tired still and gassy : ( Very happy to be home and starting this new life lost 9 lbs before surgery. Pants are falling off already hahahaha.
Just very thankful right now

So I don't have a scale at home we went to Walmart and opened one up. And I can say I'm under 350 now! Maybe by 2 lbs lol

Good Luck!! , I'm 3 weeks out today, and I was really surprised how fast the body recovers!!! I feel great and the surgery was a lot easier than I thought. I hope that you will have the same, Keep us posted.

Well tomorrow at 8 am is the start of a new life for me. Didn't sleep last night at all just a few hours this a.m. My house is clean as heck and ALL laundry is done and put away.
Now what do I do? I know I know gotta shower say my prayers close my eyes and welcome a new start of life : )

Hi everyone!
I have waited almost a year for this to come full circle. Just one more day and I will start a new chapter of my life : ) I am lucky to have a loving and supportive husband thru all of this. He's always told me I am beautiful no matter what. He's a keeper. I am tired of being tired. I am tired of missing out on all the rides at Busch Gardens for the last four years because I don't fit and don't want to be embarrassed by trying to fit.
My goal is to be healthy and happy and ride that dang new roller coaster by the end of the year : )
I am scared I will fail. There is no room to fail yet the thought is there.
One day at a time. Right : )

Man thank god my husband and I are going to have to do the same. He too is going to get the bypass. The only difference is I'm on a 3 week liquid only diet and he will be on a 2 week liquid, unlimited fruit and veggies. Sh!t thats a big difference now that I think about it. lol I'm on day 6, and damn proud of myself
