  1. Im 2 months out and can pretty much eat everything or anything i try to keep iit to mostly protien alot of fish and chicken..i eat bout 500-700 calories a day on a good day a lot of time i juss dnt feel hunger and force myself to eat

  5. Have u tried to puree chili or refriend beans?
  6. Talk to ur dr cuzz it was on my ok list during the puree stage
  7. Rt thats what i figured i eat 3 times a day 1/4 to 1/2 cup mostly protien... Atleast i feel great..my mind is starting to play tricks on me boutthinking the sugery failed... Stalls suck lol

  9. Havent lost any weight in 3 weeks im 6 weeks post-op i get bout 60 grams of protien and 64 oz of water a day..i do my exercising. Dr wants to see me monday to see what going on...anyone have any advice???

  11. Im 5 weeks chicken sits fine im to scared to try steak or pork so chicken and fish is all i eat
  12. I had my surgery july 5th dr released me to strt weight training im hoping that helps jump kick the weight loss..until then ill keep doing mu diet like the dr sys and im sure it will get going its juss frustrating.. Keep ur head up dnt give up
  13. Im not sure the reason i shoulda asked the dr ... I read something about your body going thru starvation mode but i dono...says is could last anywher from 2-6 weeks...
  14. Im rt there with u stalled for the past 20 days im eating a frinking what i should and nothing... Dr said its normal and could last 2 more weeks but im starting to panic a lil bit

  17. Im from sac but had mine at kaiser...but i wrkd in the medical field for years and had many patients go thru uc davis and they never had any problems... I know dr ali was one of the drs that alot o ppl went thru whos ur surgeon

  19. The first 2 weeks were the hardest for me ...but u will get thru it and see ur weight loss an know its worth it...when u get discouraged or frustrated sign in their are so many postitive stories... The new you is on its way..

  21. Normal new life will come i felt like it would never happen.. My girlfriend is philipino and hawaian all she does is cook it was hard and still is... For anyone that says this is an easy out they r so wrong hardest thing i ever did but soooooo worth it.... And for the bread i had the toast it extra crunchy and i did find juss chewed it really well my dr said its fine i dont do bread very often mostly juss protien...

Im 5 weeks out went to lunch with co workers and had a chicken breast sandwich no chesse no mayo well toasted bread had 4 small bites but atleast i felt normal a regular bussiness day i never thought this day would come finally life is getting back to normal well my new normal.. I love it i feel so great... So for everyone in the early stages be patient its worth it .. I can go up a flight of stairs without losing my breathe... God is good
  24. I was at south sac kaiser aswell had surgery july 5th ... Dr machado is a great dr i worked with her for years for a long time she was the only dr in sac who dis the surgery
