  1. I'm feeling pretty good! I have pain in my stomach region. No other issues though. I'm getting discharged soon. I had some yogurt and skim milk this morning. How are you handling full liquids?
  2. I would love those results after my surgery on October 9th! Keep up the good work!!
  3. Yesterday was the first day and it was really tough. I feel a lot better today. On a good note, I lost 8lbs yesterday!!
  4. Tomorrow I start my pre-op diet! I will be on optifast for 2 weeks. At least I'm allowed to have 3 sugar free jello's and 3 sugar free popsicles a day. Then my surgery on October 9th!!

  6. I'm going to be put on a 2 week optifast liquid diet. Have any of you been on optifast? Did you have any side effects like diarrhea? Any other side effects? How did you feel? Thanks!
  7. I have Aetna and I waited a week.
  8. I received a call from my doctor's office today letting me know that my insurance had approved me for surgery and then gave me a surgery date of October 9th!! I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. This next month is going to fly by!
  9. I don't have a surgery date yet. I still have one more class with the dietician. I live in Stafford, VA and my surgeon is going to be Dr. Halmi in Woodbridge, VA. I'm a little nervous, but mostly excited for the big change!
