  7. That is mean!!!!!!! 70lbs to loose is a lot of weight. Weighing over 200lbs isn't healthy for any body. It is a hard decision for anyone to make to have this surgery. It is not ok for you to question anyone else's decision on a SUPPORT site. I weighed 225 pre surgery and am 144 at 7 months out. Not an easy decision for me to have had the surgery and a struggle just like everyone else.
  8. I was panicked about hair loss. Starting taking biotin but stopped because it was giving me more hair everywhere! After talking with my surgeon I felt reassured that the hair loss would be temporary. Definitely get your protein in...it is mostly what your hair is made of. My hair has always fallen out even before surgery but has never been thinning. At 4 months post op it starting coming out like crazy...my hair went from full to fine. I didn't have any bald spots or anything just less hair all over my head. The good news is it stopped at 6 months or so, now at 7 months post op I'm back to my pre op shedding amount.
