Oh my! Embarrasing!
Ok just a hint. When you shrink out of your clothes get rid of them!! Last night I accidentally put on my size 18 jeans (which I fit into two weeks ago or so) and left to go out with my family. We were at a store (rite aid) getting something on the way to the zoolights with the family and in line (surrounded by many people) when all if a sudden my pants were around my knees and not covering my top portion of my legs and butt where pants are supposed to be!!! To say the least I quickly pulled them up grabbed my husband (who totally didn't see it) and left the line! Told him what happened and all he could do was ask how come he missed it. (Dang it ) and died laughing! Then we went a searched in the store for and bought a belt (ugly one but it worked) to protect what was left of my modesty and future pride. ROFL. Wish I had bought a belt sooner and gotten rid of too big pants out of my drawers. Lesson learned and going through my clothes today haha

Friday Weigh-In!
Surgery date 6/7/12. 6 months ago today!! Surgery weight 261.4 Last week 169 Today 169.8. Gained weight this week which means welcome stall!! Ugh!! 92 pounds down. I had weighed 167.4 but gained it back to be today's weight. So up and down roller coaster back in my life- not thrilled. But yay 92 down and 24 pounds to goal. Dr said I'm doing great and to stop taking in so much protein 50 plus is good enough at my size now. So crazy how each dr is different!!

I Feel Nervous
I had the endodcopy prior to surgery but my dr does not do a swallow test for bleeds and leaks. As with everything each surgeon is different. The best thing us write down your questions about things you see in here then bring those to your dr. Good luck!!

I Feel Nervous
Yes they give you conscience sedation. Where you will be awake but you won't be aware or remember anything at all. Plus I felt awesome afterwards cause it felt like I had a great nap. Don't worry I was afraid and it was no big deal at all

My 1St Update
I had the same problem and in the middle of 100 degrees heat UGH!! I found ice cold water was the clue. I froze water bottles 2/3 way and then filled them up which kept them cold enough for my stomach. Slushie a with sugar free syrup also worked great. Hope this works for you

Weight Loss Is Slow
With this surgery anything is possible but I'm thinking it might have been an off day. You know where everyday for months you can eat chicken and turn one day you can't buy a week later you're good. Wait a bit and try again. When you're home near the facilities though lol.

Looking Forward To . . .
Whoohoooo. I did not really comprehend how far I've come until I realized I have or can do almost everything on the above lists, except cute bras and panties and the 5 K run! Wow. I remember posting on what I wanted on a post just like this, wondering at the time if it would ever happen! Here it is 5 months later and just wow! I should go find they list and see how I'm doing.

I have eaten fresh tomatoes as soon as I was given the go ahead for any healthy food, which was about 6 weeks. It might even have been earlier but I know for sure I was eating them then.

Same Ole Protein
I add fruit to my protein shake every morning that I make one with my unflavored protein powder. I add 1/2 a small banana and 2 -3 frozen strawberries or mixed berries to 4 oz of silk and 1 scoop powder. I eat that every day I go to work, it is my breakfast and works as a meal. I tried it with flavored protein and did not like it.

Grrrrrrr
I am so sorry you are going through this. It does seem terribly unfair. I would speak to your doctor, but I still think that you will still succeed. I was lucky not to be a revision but I had a month stall like this so understand a bit what you are going through, minus the family pressure. Just try try try to stay positive and keep staying the course. We will support you as much as possible but the strength comes from you and I believe you have this, otherwise you never could have undertaken another surgery to fix your health. You deserve to be healthy and I know it will work out. I wish I had the answers but since each of us is different and has different issues I would not even try, except for the general accepted guidelines, which I am sure still stand for you as a revision.
