  1. So I decided to do a pre/post op comparison. Down 40.lbs (including rougb post ops of 3 hospital admissions). Be honest! Any difference?. I see nothing. [ATTACH]1920[/ATTACH]
  2. Started 2nd week post op, 3rd day, 4th day etc lol. Its a part of healing :-)
  3. At the hospital a physical therapist came by to show me how to get in and out. My bed is high so I bruised more. Buy a body pillow. I still use it and its helped big time.
  4. Its hard. My nut said I can take a few small sips while eating to wet my mouth.
  5. Sad on the set back but glad ur doing better.
  6. It could have been the potatoes. They have a similar affect to me.

  8. So I dont have a history of depression and am normally happy and outgoing. A few weeks ago a "wave of sadness" came over me and got worse each day. Insomnia started to kick in. Now I'm on antidepressants and something to help me sleep. I also see a social worker at my bariatric center weekly. I know its a "normal post op" thing to feel down but I feel scared. I dont like feeling sad and overwhelmed. Will it go away?

  15. Hello out there surgery twins. Starting weight 364. Today Im at 340. Stalled for 2 weeks. I was told only walking for 6 to 8 weeks. U guys are exercising? My post op appt is wed so i will be asking
  16. So...i had my period right b4 surgery and of course it startes again the day after. Im 4 weeks post op and its starting again and its like a weird black smear. Anyone else get this? As far as birth control Im on the pill but read online its less effective because my stomach cant absorb the hormones. Im nervous but dont want to switch off. I was on the shot for years and gained over 100 lbs. My insurance doesnt cover an IUD. And before anyone says it...i hate condoms. Engaged and dont use them. Has anyone had issues with the pill?

  18. Out of nowhere yesterday I had a wave of sadness come over me. I can't shake it off and don't know why. Any ideas?
  19. Now i know drinking isn't allowed for a while but I'm curious on the experiences of those that drank after surgery, whether a week, months etc. How far out were u, how much/what did u drink and how it affected u. Thanks!
