  1. I find the Dreamfields pasta in Shop Rite in the pasta section. I also found these rice like cakes called Coco Lites. They are made with rice, wheat and corn. Each cake is 16 calories, 4 carbs, 1 g protein and no sugar or fat. I use them like bread and make a sandwich. Also found these French twists made by Barrys bakery, two snack sticks are 60 calories, 9 carbs, 4 sugar, 0 protein, fat free, no dairy, no eggs, etc. They come in many flavors like French toast, chocolate chip, raspberry, vanilla etc.
  2. Thanks I am going to have to look for them. They sound yummy!
  3. As for your pasta issue, there is a great alternative pasta called DREAMFIELDS, it looks and tastes just like regular pasta but it's a180 calories for 2oz dried and only 5 net carbs. It's made specially for diabetics. I cook it for myself when the family has pasta.
  4. I am interested. Send me the info at jewels1223@msn.com.
  5. Add me jewels122335
  6. Where at in Eastampton? My brother lives in Eastampton Farms.
  7. Kssun, so sorry to hear about your ordeal. Hope your feeling better. Thanks for all info. Jenn, when are you having your test. I am scheduled for Mon to have an endoscopy. So hopefully I will have some answers. Keep me posted on what you find out. Hope you feel better soon. Thanks for all the well wishes!
  8. As anyone out there experienced an ulcer in the area where the new stomach pouch is joined by the intestines? If so what where your symptoms? How did they treat it? How long before you felt better? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
  9. Try Beanitos they are a chip made from beans. They have black bean, cheddar cheese pinto and flax, BBQ black bean, and another one I can't remember. I bought them on amazon.com and they sell them in most health food stores. One small bag is 175 calories and 6 grams of protein. Great with salsa, hummus, or guacamole.
  10. Ok I know the eat rite pizza are bad for you. But I got an email today from a company called VITALICOUS. They make muffins and muffin tops that are 90 calories, sugar free, have about 4-5 grs of protein, 3-5 carbs and are full of vitamins. The muffins are delicious. Well now they are making pizzas. Haven't checked them out nutrition wise but they looked and sounded good.
  11. So sorry to hear your having problems. Hope you feel better soon! I understand what your feeling I keep getting what I call "attacks" where it feels like someone is pressing a cinder block into my stomach and then twisting it with vice grips. My dr said he thinks it's an ulcer or internal hernia. I am scheduled for GI dr on sept 4th.
  12. Thanks for the info, but man that sucks! I really liked their breakfast pizza. Grrrrr!
  13. I am just about 9 months out. I have has some challenges along the way but it's been well worth it!
  14. I found them at the local health food store, but you can find them online at EATRITE.com.
  15. Hey guys, for all you looking to eat pizza, I found one. The company name is EAT RITE. They make mini chicago style deep dish pizzas. They are around 200-300 calories, 3-5 carbs, and 20-35 grams of protein depending on the flavor. I am 9 months out and still can not tolerate breads, pizza etc but I can tolerate these. Half of one pizza is enough for me, so I get two meals out of one pizza. The have tried the breakfast pizza and just bought the Tres, Quattro and Cinco to try.
  16. Hi, DL! Went to the drs today. Definately on a plateau. Two months ago I weighed in at 195 lbs, today I was 182 lbs. I have lost a total of 49 inches. Body fat % went from 56 to 39. They told me the honeymoon period is over. That from here on in diet and exercise are key. Told me to not to go over 1000 calories a day. As for the pain I have been feeling, dr believes that it is either an ulcer or an internal hernia. He wants me to see a GI dr to get scoped. He is leaning more towards the ulcer due to the fact that I have been taking a prescription called meloxicam for arthritis, it is in the class of NSAIDS. He also said that it's harder to lose weight for people under 5 ft. Great! Just another obstacle to overcome!
  17. I am on my fitness pal too. Feel free to add me....jewels122335
  18. O I like the chocolate chip pure Protein. I also have some Protein Bars from Bariatric Choice that I like. But I try to eat more nutrious meals to get the Vitamins and minerals. Plus I have been having issues with diarrhea, nutritionist told me it is the sugar alcohol that is causing it. Plus with not having my gallbladder I can't tolerate fatty meats. I have been getting pains just below my breast bone occasionally for about two weeks now. Went to primary dr not my heart or lungs. The pain is like a brick on my chest or someone has a vice grip twisting my chest. The weird thing is that they happen at night but it happened the other morning on our way to the shore. Every time this happens I get up and eat 1 oz of nuts and the pain subsides. Going to have dr check it tomorrow.
  19. Ok, so I know I am eating right. Like today I had a eas shake for Breakfast, cottage double for snack, spinach salad with fresh veggies, feta cheese, 2 oz of ham, 2 oz of turkey, garlic Cesar salad topping and kens light northern Italian dressing. Then for snack I had dried beef roll ups. No dinner yet. My dr and nutrionist up me about a month ago from 800 calories to 1000 calories, increase my Protein from 60 gr to 80-100 gr. they did this cause I told them I was preparing to walk in a half marathon in sept. They all said to increase carbs by 20 gr and 20 gr for every 1 hr of exercise. But I find if I eat more than 60 gr of carbs I get sluggish the next day. Make any sense to you? I would love your list of Proteins. Thanks so much! My email is jewels1223@msn.com
  20. O by the way are you on my fitness pal?
  21. Thanks DL what your saying makes a lot of sense. Your right I have to wrap my head around it. I know its easier said than done. Can I ask you a question? Do you eat mostly nutrious meals or protein bars/shakes? I usually have one Eas shake a day and a protein bar occasionally in the evening if I am want something sweet or low on protein for the day.
  22. Hey Tami, are u on my fitness pal?
  23. I wouldnt change a thing, just wished that I did it sooner. Still getting the pain primary dr said its not my heart and lungs are clear. Going to GBP dr and nutrionist tomorrow so hopefully I will get some answers. I had my gallbladder out on 05/17/12. Other than that no major issues.
