  1. Hey I'm 23 also. May8th is my surgery date! I'm so excited!! I hope I do as well as u. That's amazing. Any tips or pointers about after surgery would be great!!
  2. Same thing here with me. I tried for the Lapland when I was 20. But insurance changed and didn't accept me. Now at 23 I am approved and having surgery may 8th. Some of my so called friends back then told me I had to work for weightloss and not take the easy way out. Needless to say, now only a few of those friends are still by my side and have changed opinions after being told that it's a hard fight having surgery too. We still have to work at it. Bypass is not a free ticket to happiness. Lol it just aides in our effort to lose weight. Good luck to u and don't let anyone get u upset about "taking the easy way" cause I bet half of them couldn't do what we are doing
  3. Hey guys!! I'm having bypass on may 8th. Thanks for all the support in reading I can't wait. And good luck everyone who has surgery yet to come!!
  4. I'm having the gastric bypass on may 8th I would suggest it but in the end it's up to you. I have seen and heard better results with the bypass. There is a new surgery out called the sleeve! Check it out
  5. Great work. For me I'm on a meal replacement sugar free liquid diet two weeks before surgery. In one week I lost 11.5 pounds! One week to go isn't it exciting that surgery date is so close
