  1. I chose to tell only a few people, I told my close family and 1 person at work. My best friend and I got our bands together so that has been great support for me. I am to the point to where I wish that I would have not told my family, because they constantly ask me how I'm feeling, how much I've lost, if food is still getting stuck, when my next fill is and they tell everyone! I think we definatley need support in this journey, just really think about how much you want to tell and what your going to tell them. It seems like you have made a good friend which is always good! I wish you the best of luck with your surgery! It is the best thing that I could have ever done for myself! I just wish I would have kept it to myself longer!
  2. You know what is best for you! You do what you need to do to be a healthier and better you as a person, a mom, a wife and everything else that falls along those lines. I don't think people who havn't had any weight issues really understand what it is like to battle the bulge. I don't think they realize that if it was that easy we wouldn't be here. I was banded 12 days ago and at first my sisters were not understanding but I had to go on and do it for ME! To be honest I am quite happy with my deciscion. Just be educated the best you can to make the best choice for you. I am wishing you all the best and you go girl!!
  3. Congradulations fellow bandster, I was banded seven days ago and I am feeling great. I was a little sore for longer but I am doing great now. How are you guys doing on the liquid diet? Well anyways good luck to all you fellow bandsters.
  4. Is there anyone out there from Oregon, who has went to mexico for their lapband? I am looking for a place to get my fills. I have not been banded yet, that is on tuesday!!! Anyways I have heard that it is hard to find U.S. Dr.s that will do a fill for patients from mexico. Any one have any references, they would be greatly appreciated.
