  1. I have done my cardiac testing for the revision from the lapband to the bypass. I called my primary doctor's office and had them to fax my results to my surgeon.now i am waiting on them to contact me and set up my consultation with my surgeon.I am still a self pay.yes i wasted 20k, yes I am very unhappy with the results.but I know that this is my life and I need to be happy with me, credit card ready, here i come.hopefully this will bring me joy in that this is a major step in redefining me ang being satisfied with me.
  2. Have anyone heard of anyone failing the gastric by pass.now i have seen a couple of people that have gained weight back, but they refuse to adhere to the the bypass. they want to eat what ever they want even at the rsik of being sick. My sister had the old gastric bypass with the incision down the abdomen. sha stays around140-150 pounds
  3. i had the lapband 12/23/2008, and than i had my gastric bypass revision on 10/25/2011.i totally regretted the band instantly.fills/unfills.exercising more and harder than prior to the band. my doctor kept saying that i shouldn't have to work so hard to lose the weight.i was working out 5-6 days a week 1-2 hours a day. alot of things i could not eat or tolerate. a lot of things i had given up prior due tomy diabetes. the wt loss is slow. my dietician says because of the amount that i need to loose. yet i am still obese. So my journey is a very hard journey for me. being 50 years old and menapausal doesn't help at all.
