  1. I mean I used to eat ketchup sandwiches when I was a kid. Bread, butter, and ketchup. Sometimes for a change I'd let my mom put a slice of cheese in it but it really ruined the ketchup flavor for me. That was my husband with mustard. Called them a "WISH" sandwich....... Wish I had some meat.
  2. Good grief MAN!!!! I just drooled a little
  3. I invested ALOT of money into my scrub sets!! That's a lot of money. I didn't even buy clothes for 2 years I just bought scrubs. I worked 6 days a week and didn't have time for clothes shopping. Sad part is when I had my son I donated all my sets to the Veterinary Hospital . Those lucky dogs
  4. This this!! See I'm confused on how she thinks it is on the inside. IDK.
  5. Is this true for the bypass at Rockwood? I'm really trying to understand. I might have missed it but did you say its something new at Rockwood? No offence but I am confused. And were your staples on the inside of your stomach? Again no offence.
  6. My SIL had her bypass preformed at Rockwood. I will have her put the question to her surgeon at her 3 month ck up. I'm confused... I was told the staples stayed. I knida feel better knowing there. Weird.... Must be a select few that are doing it?? I WILL find out.
  7. This is the approach I have had in mind also. I have spoke with mu husband on it and he's all in. Even wont eat the Halloween candy I have put in the laundry room. Funny I don't even want it (Thank god) Today I found out that I cant even eat GF pancakes yet with out craving following. I had my 3 month ck up and had to fast for the blood work this morning. Took a GF pancake muffin with blueberries I had baked last night with me. It was a wake up and go kinda morning. I always make sure I have time for a good breakfast now a days. Anyway I felt weak when I got home an took a nap for the first time in 2 months. A I freaking dreamt of cake. I know now while in this phase I will not be able to afford any unhealthy eating choices as a "main meal". THE CARB MONSTER IS REAL!!!!! Cake was my addiction. I'd eat the whole damn thing and look for more. Or knowing it was there in the fridge and NO SHITTED wake up at 2 in the morning craving it. I even would leave a fork in the dang thing just for this reason. I'm just realizing this about myself BTW. It's a sad thing really looking at oneself in that kinda light. But I'm learning myself now and am pleased with my resolve in this matter of what I can do and can not do. Sorry that was long winded...
  8. K so I tryd this tonight for dinner. Got the main recipe somewhere. I think on here but not positive. I'm saying 2 mini muffins is one serving. Recipe made 30 mini muffins 15 serving per patch Venison Mini Meatloaf Muffins 1 Pound Deer hamburger 1 C Parmesan cheese (grated) 1 C Tomato Sauce (low sodium) Save half (4 oz) for topping 1/2 tsp Garlic powder 1/2 tsp Onion Powder 1/4 Diced Onion (optional) 1 Package Instant mash Potatoes (I tbsp per muffin) Mix first 6 items together well. Fill mini muffin pan with meat mix. Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes About 10 minutes in I added the potatoes on top. Finished cooking then drizzle remaining tomato sauce over each mini meatloaf. and EAT. I'm pleased to say it was Devine. Which is saying something because I used to puke each time I tried venison. Let me know if anyone trys it.

  10. Laura!!! There is NO ONE you should compare yourself too! You are one of a kind and amazing I might add!! Your an inspiration and I love reading your posts! It's nice to hear a voice of reason when someone wont call the BS!! I find I compare myself to many on here but do try to remember It's all to possible some of it is a front!. I left Facebook for that very reason. Some people just post what they know people wanna hear or what they think makes them look better!. AND I HATE IT!!! I've always thought you are real, a real person, a real woman, a real caring person and have a awesome sence of humor!! I told you once I liked your style and I still do, Plus I love your jeans in your full body pic!! Havent seen you much on here either and I hate it!!

  14. OMG I just got really personal. Yikes
  15. At my 3 month ck up this morning. I told the PA about my issue. She was not positive on the exact cause for the anger. She said she has heard of it more in men but in a few women also. One from up in Bellingham area where I live. (could it be in the Water?? JK) Anyway. She said she there was a gentleman in the place she works that deals with hormones. She was going to do some checking for me to find out if its something that's common. She also thought that its hold mirth that the release of hormones in someone whos losing quickly could have a rapid response. Ok I also have a history of not dealing well with any mass amount of hormones released in my system. We went through infertility treatments back in 04' 05'. I ended up taking Clomid for a year!! Anyone unfamiliar with the treatments.... its a hormone you take pill form to help increase your chances to conceive. You are only supposed to take it for a few months because of the increase in hormones it pumps into the body. With my Dr out here and there and other timing issues I ended up taking it for a year. I was young and following what I thought was the best advice of our Dr. We ended it and gave up on having a baby for another 5 years because of the reaction I had to it. I had what we refer to as a Roid rage. I freaked and smashed stuff and even tryd to attack my husband in my blind rage. Not something I'm proud of . Thank God my husband understood the whys and Enlightened me because I was appalled with myself crying for days. I was ok after that rage. So we were done. I also have angry pms. Ok I know I sound like a nut and maybe I am. IDK. Anyway thanks for listening. I'll keep you updated as to what the blood work says and what my PA finds out talking to my surgeon and her quest for more research on the matter. Crazy's going for a walk!!
  16. Journaling was not something I have thought to do. It's worth giving it a try for sure tho. I used to years ago. But I might just have a cuss life journal . Told the husband I wanted to take an hour for a walk early this morning. "Still haven't made it out" I just want to put my ear buds in and escape for a while breathing in the cold crisp air!! With my night stick in hand lol Date night has been suggested often but I just never made time for us to be alone. We always thought we had 10 years alone together well be fine. I'm have been rethinking my sanity tho. My girlfriend has offered to keep my "monkey" over night if we needed and I think I'll take her up on it now!! Misty thanks for your comment! Everyone is making me think. Not quite sure why it's all the sudden working "me thinking " again but It's AWESOME!! lol

  21. It's nice knowing it's not just you huh! Idk when this will end but I hate to be this way through the holidays here with a toddler! I feel like I'm going to be a Grinch! I'm going to fight it damn it! My husband hunts also. So I totally get that! He Had just returned from his elk hunt (thankfully it only lasted two days instead of the whole week) and had only been home for a few minutes when I broke in to a snotty ball of tears and self loathing! I'm sorry about your MRSA. I know it's a hard thing to fight. I hope you heal quickly and the moods pass just as quickly!! ((Hugs to you, your not alone))
  22. The advice above is a huge help!! Especially about reflections!
  23. I feel like I'm the only one who's not had a stall. I read Butters 3 week stall on his signature when I first joined. At the time is was my only knowledge of there being a stall. I thought crap I'm a month out its going to happen any day. I was scared. Then my heart went out to everyone who had a stall!
