  1. Wait you must've missed my guess -- I had guessed sales actually! Oh well not too far off

  8. Yep! Ha ha. Before that I owned the Texas Rangers baseball team.
  9. Have you checked to be certain that your insurance covers surgery? If so, and you are 10 pounds shy of the 35 bmi or 40 bmi, you can either gain the weight or gain a few pounds and wear your heaviest clothing/shoes/etc to get weighed at your consultation and also scrunch down when they measure your height. Doctor's offices can't come right out and say this to you, but that is the answer to your question. The other option is to self pay and not gain anything.
  10. I would not be surprised if they want to test you for other stuff, anyway. Have you ever been screened or tested for Obstructive sleep Apnea? That's a biggie they usually look for, for example. BMI above 40 is enough for your insurance, though.
  11. @@LilMissDiva Irene @@keish_lorraine I wish on both of those things! Actually nothing animal related at all :P

  15. Some of us aren't interested in being the poster child for WLS in our communities, workplaces, among our friends, etc. It becomes the first thing one thinks of when that person's name is mentioned. I don't get why that is so hard to understand. Kudos on being an open book. Some of us like our privacy. People are different.
  16. I hear you telling us all about what he thinks.... now I am wondering what YOU think about it. Support from your spouse is important, but at the end of the day this is one of those things that you have to decide for yourself. Do you want to try their weight loss program first? Or is that something you are doing because your hubby doesn't want you to do surgery? Just things to think about. Welcome to the site!!
  17. You could change your screenname if it has been leaked or whatever to people you know. Just a thought.
  18. Some of the guys on these sites will deliberately "mess" with you -- sounds Weird but I promise you this is true. It can be a Good thing, in some cases. Others it just comes across as creepy and rightfully so.
  19. Just an observation, but it seems like the most aggressive posts that I am seeing here are from those that claim others are bullying them.
