  1. I was sleeved 11/4. Had post op bm 11/10. And was it painful. Sent hubby to store for stool softners immediately. Definitely recommend them !!
  2. I took shower next day. Have showered everday since being home. Was told no baths no sitting in water. Go back tomorrow to have drain tube removed! Super excited to get it out!
  3. I definitely know the feeling. I was kicked off a kidie roller coaster at at branson with my son. I was so embarrassed. That was 10 yrs ago. This yr we went back and I just didn't ride any. I told my husband I would ride them next time we went. Sleeved a week ago. Next summet, Florida here we come!
  4. I'm a week out today. Had my first post op bm today! OMG should've taken stool softeners! I would recommend stool softeners to anyone who has this procedure! Would've been nice to know. I was getting worried then the feeling hit me. Sent the hubby to the store right after!
  5. I'm not having gas pains. Everytime I drink something my stomach kinda craps and it hurts. I am one week out today. I don't do the Protein shakes since surgery. I'm doing broths and carnation sf Breakfast and cream Soups. And sf Jello and pudding, also cream of wheat. I do recommend a stool softener. Had first post surgery bm today and wow did it hurt. Sent hubby to the store for stool softener immediately!
  6. Yea same problem here. Or it won't let me look at the latest pages. Keeps saying error. I liked the other site better
  7. I was on dilaudid the three days in hospital. Zofran every 4 hrs and scop patch behind ear too. Went home with liquid lortab. Only have to take a dose or two a day. Soreness working out slowly. Drain tube being removed wed the 13th
  8. I told everyone the truth. I've had a few ppl ask y didn't I just diet. I just told them I had been struggling with my weight for yrs. I am the type of personality that unless ur in my life and very close ur opinion is just that. Ur opinion. My husband supports and loves me and he is the only one in my life that his opinion matters. I'm very blessed to have him support me fully!
  9. Yes I weighed myself. I know I'm not supposed to this early but I did. Down 7 lbs since surgery the 4th
  10. And I definitely know the hungry feeling. I feel like I'm starving all the time. I go wednesday to get my drain out
  11. My iv blew the vein nd the iv fluid was going in my arm and not the vein. Ican stand better and walk better but still can't bend over lol
  12. My doc is ok with tylenol only. I so missmy excedrin migraine!
  13. Below and to left of belly button. Dr says totally normal. I also have my drain still in so couldbe that. Thats what my sis in law told me. She had procedure in april
  14. I'm 5 days post op and I have paib around my
  15. I'm trying everything slowly. I had a really bad time in hospital. First my iv infiltrated and my left arm was all swollen and red. Then i had an allergic reaction to one of the meds given to me. The right side of my face now has raised red whelps between my forehead and my earlobe. And because i received about 4 new meds that I've never had before i don't know which one caused it. i moved around a little better today. I go Wednesday to have the drain tube removed from my left side. Hopefully i will feel better after that.

  17. I definitely understand the burning pain. I'm 4 days post op and I also have to hold my left side of abdomen when I walk. My sis in law said the dr told her the pain was from the suction caused by the jackson pratt drain. Hopefully when I have it removed the 13th the pain will go with it!!   18. How have u been? Any complications? I'm movung slow and can't bend down. Not trying to rush foods either. I'm drinking as much water as I can tolerate. Scared to drink to much might vomit
  19. Congratulations! I was sleeved on 11/4 my only problems so far are that I can't bend over or bend down and using stomach muscles for any reason! Haven't taken any pain meds today. Do feel alot better
  20. Its definitely not u. Thank goodness. I was feeling a little alone to. Between brushing and mouth wash I'm surprised anyone will still talk to me!
  21. Had really bad experience. 2nd day post op had iv infiltrated and broke out in rash and reddness. Itching all over. Had alot of new meds I've never had before so could have been anything. Home now. Surgery was the 4th still sore but more tolerable. Still have large rash on right side of my face. Never had n/v. So glad. Not sure I could handle much more!
  22. I had mine done monday. It sucked alot. I had allergic reaction to iv antibiotics and my iv infiltrated. So my left arm is swollen and red and I have a red blotchy face. Left side ribs sore and really hurts to get on and off toilet
  23. 24 hrs post op. Sore but walking. Definitely used lemon glycerin swabs. Extremely dry mouth. All smiles though. Good luck to everyone and don't over do it!
  24. You are so lucky! I had 14 days high Protein low carb. Got food from dr office and thats all I could have
  25. I also have bcbs but of Illinois. It took 17 very long days for my approval. Good luck my new life began today!
