  1. Women are rothless when they think another Woman will look better then them, and even more so when they have been " the looker" of the group. Just remember those who speak ill of you or to you only see something in you they wish they could have. Keep kind and stay true to you and nothing will hold you back.
  2. I lived in Anson for a while when I was 18, I worked at belk on albemarle, I loved it there
  3. I'm from Brevard , we are an Army family living on Army post, but Brevard NC is still my home
  4. I wish I had known I was the " fat friend" to my best friend, she has been super hateful to me with every pound I lose her comments get uglier, I was told my apples would fall from the tree and only real friends would stay. ,
  5. I ate a cookie ( really small kind with a Hershey kids on top) I'm 11 weeks out and it was my 1 st sweet thing since 16 weeks ago, I spent 25 min dry heaving and crying in the bathroom floor ......... Never never again, but it's good we learn these thing early , I feel shame bc I ate that cookie .
  6. I am on an Army post. This phy women made me so mad Im surprised I even got sleeved I yelled at this women for telling me my husband would sleep around bc I had become do fat.. But in the end my dr made the call to do it NOT the phy. She fished and looked for reasons to not do it. I have never filed an ICEE but I did on her, if you feel he was wrong file one. They only help never hurt. And if he understands PTSD after math truly he would know he was not helping you by prolonging you getting sleeved. My best friend in the whole world had and still has PTSD she was sleeved no problem. Hers dates back to 2004 Iraq hand to hand fight where she was sent back home with a TBI. Her sleeve helped her cope and not turn to food.
  7. My date was October 9 th, I'm down 48 lbs since my sleeve and 59 from my largest last year, I feel amazing, I hit my Christmas goal on thanksgiving, and I am 4 lbs away from the weight the therapist i seen for my post op exam told me I would get to ( she was by far the meanest person I ever meet, sat there at 110 lb telling me how she was fat too but was going to go on a diet and I was lazy for having a sleeve) I am so blessed to have had this done!
  8. Thank y'all, I do not feel alone now, and also have insight on what and why, I hope iv not ran to many ppl off!
  9. It really might be just me, but my breath is nasty! I brush my teeth all day long, mouth washes, salt water to wash it out. I'm huge on personal hygiene so it's making me crazy!!!!!!!! My husband says he can't tell but I know he is being nice, plus his last tour in Iraq I think messed his sniffer up. But my kids will say " mommy your breath stink" I stand feet away from people and hold my breath if they go in for a hug ( like at church). I am 4 weeks out today and it's been the past 2 weeks it has got crazy! It's like it's in the back of my month and I hate it! I guess what I'm saying is, am I the only one?, will it get better, why is it going on and what can I do for it??!!!
  10. Take a deep breath...... Regroup..... Now tomorrow is a bran new day. When you get up take your vitamins, start counting your proteins. Just put all this behind you and start new. I may not know you personal, but I have faith in you bc you cowboyed up and talked about what's going on. I admire you for that.
  11. My dr said 2 years as well, I'm done having kids but a few girls asked as that was their main reason for needing to lose weight as with many I have seen on here.

Just keep going, don't give up, there will times you are ready to throw your hands up and walk away ( I did for 4 months and the came back and started back). Just keep trucking. Also look into groups that help pay for it. I know how disheartening this is and I feel so deeply for you.
