  2. I had mine oct 21. I swear my body forgot food exists. My brother ordered chinese food last night it smelled good but no craving to eat it...so weird..commericals of food have no effect. its kinda scary. Ive been drinking water and broth. I can do a bottle of water in an hour...my doctor said thats alot and to slow down
  3. I just started getting gas pains last night. Woke me right up out of bed! I find that drinking water, as the water goes down the gas comes up...its uncomfortable but worth it

  9. Sorry read that wrong. At my pre op visit they did a EKG, blood drawn, urine taken, and a chest xray...well all that was done at the hospital. They explain to you what you have to do to prep for surgery also. At my doctors pre surgical approval visit. They reviewed the information from the pre op visit at the hospital. Doctor listened to my heart and asked my alot of questions. Then Basically I was approved by her to go for surgery. Im having surgery tomorrow morning

  11. Getting Sleeved on Monday, October 21th! Who's getting sleeved that day?! I started out at 268 for my highest weight. Then 265.5 right before I started my preop diet. Now with a day and a half to go I'm 249.5

  18. Im taking 6 weeks off of work. I work with wheelchairs, lifting, and such. Its paid so why not lol!
  19. My doctor made me do a partial liquid for two weeks. Two shakes, eat dinner, 1 snack. I think this Wednesday I start full liquids, 5 shakes a day for 3 weeks.....It wasnt as bad as I thought. first 3 days I wanted to eat everything. Now I see food and Shrug lol....defiantly a mind thing

  22. It took me about a month to do all the pre op requirements. The office submitted on Monday and Thursday the same week I was approved. I have Empire bcbs, Anthem. Oo and my surgery date was given to me on my first visit with the surgeon after the seminar. They said if I wasnt approved by then, the date would change. Good thing I did lol. It seems all the offices operate so differently. Good Luck! I hope you get a date soon!

  24. I used an out of network doctor so I paid 300 dollars and for the hospital stay i have a 100 copay and everything else is covered. I have empire bcbs Athena
