I stepped on and off the scale about ten times to make sure that it was true. I havent lost this much weight in over ten years. It is so awesome, everything Ive been through thus far is so worth it!

  14. Surgery was 8 days ago, no complications. I know some soreness is expected but my left side is killing me! Its a dull stabbing pain constantly but then when I breath it hurts even worse! Is this normal? Does it go on for awhile?

  17. I am in college and taking three classes. I let my professors know they days I would be missing class and I took all my homework with me to the hospital (I actually got alot done) I missed one exam but since I let the instructor know I was going to be out she let me do a make up. 6 days after surgery and I am back in classes!
  18. Yes be careful indeed I am surprised how much of my "hunger" feelings are visual stimulation and smell...thanks!
  19. THank you! I have noticed its hard for me to sip broth because it is salty, I hadnt thought to try low sodium, good idea! Thank you for the info and help!
  20. Yes its is normal! I was there 6 days ago and was so nervous the doctor had to give me some medication to help calm me down because my heart rate was high. You are in good hands. Everything will be great and youll be out of surgery before you know it! Well wishes to you!
  21. Thank you so much! This really helps and its nice to know I am not the only one and its normal. I will try the idea of the cups.Thank you thank you
  22. So I had my surgery on the 19th, everything went great. And I have not felt hunger since surgery. But then sometimes I am looking at food (like while in the grocery store) and all of a sudden I "think" I feel hungry. But then I stop and actually challenge myself and realize Im not hungry. So now I am having a hard time with sipping broths and protien shakes because I cannot tell if I am full or what. Is this normal? I feel like I am going crazy. Any advice will be much appreciated.
