Tomorrow starts a week of clears for me also !! I am very excited, makes it seem real finally. But I have to admit I'm also a little nervous now too. But I know .... WE CAN DO THIS!! Here is to the start of healthier, happier lives!!

Finally got my surgery date!!! December 9th is the big day. I am very excited!!! Seems real at last, as we thought I would be sleeved in October.......then November . I am soooooooo happy to join the December sleevers!!

Only twelve more days till my last visit with the NUT and REsubmission to Cigna!!!! I did not have enough time with the NUT prior to submitting my paperwork in October . I am so excited, the surgery schedule is pretty open for November so if I get a quick turn around with Cigna (only took 3 days to deny the first attempt) I will be sleeved in November !!! Happy Dance!!! I can't think of better way to avoid the holiday bulge!!! :)

When I submitted to Cigna the first time, it took them 3 business days to deny it. I needed more time with the NUT. Next appointment with the NUT is November 4th and the paperwork will be resubmitted that day. Hoping for an approval this time AND a fast turn around.

Cigna is a pain!! Submitted my paperwork last week. Heard today that they did not approve it, want another month of seeing the NUT. I called twice to see what was needed and so did the Dr. office. I am right on the line with my BMI, has to be over 40 because I have no co morbidities. I have about four pounds to play with to stay above that line. Now my last appt with the NUT will be Nov 4th. Have to lose something.... But it can't be more than 4 lbs!!! Now I am a nervous wreck !! Ugggggghhhhh!!

I am just the opposite!! Currently hate to shop for clothes, I have a closet full of baggy t shirts and drawstring pants that I really hope last quite awhile!!

Congrats on your approval. My dr just sent the paperwork to the insurance company yesterday.....waiting on pins and needles. They said I could be having surgery this month if the approval comes back in a week or two!! Super excited !!

I have been seeing Dr. Snow with Heart of America Bariatrics. They usually have a $200.00 program fee, but have been waiving it this year.....said it was due to the economy. Other than my co-pay for the first visit, I have not paid any out of pocket expenses so far. Last appointment with the NUT was yesterday and my paperwork was submitted to Cigna yesterday..... guess I will find out about any extra fees when I get my approval.

Hi all! I'm from Festus , which is just south of St. Louis. I am going thru Heart of America Bariatrics with Dr. Snow. I am just about ready for submission to the insurance company. One last appt. with the NUT, on Oct 2nd and my paperwork is on the way to Cigna. I am so excited!

Anyone here have Cigna ?? I have everything done and go for my last NUT appt Oct 2nd .
