  3. Just had my one year check up. I've lost 124 lbs and my BMI is down to 25.02! Jazzed, but would still like to lose a little more before gettng my skin taken off.

  4. Still at 157 and the scales not moving. I walked 8.3 crazy miles on Saturday. I know I haven't been eating right or getting all my water in. Just can't seem to get back in on track. My family doc said I'm just fine and he doesn't think I have any more to lose. Still want to lose those 17 pounds or at least 10! Frustration and sagging skin, that's me!

Just start at one meal at a time to get yourself back on track.

You have been so successful so far and I'm sure you know all the rules of the plan you were given by your surgeon and nutritionist that you can do this.

Your confidence is just a little shaky right now but you've got the people on Bariatric Pal in your corner.

      You'll be fine.

  5. I think I'm finally hitting the plateau. Gonna bump up the exercise program. Would love to make my goal by my anniversary July 31st. Getting tougher now.

  6. Feeling a little blue today. My scale says I've gained 2 pounds, but I haven't gone to the bathroom in a few days. I'm about 20 pounds away from goal. Haven't been eating right, getting my protein or water in. I also haven't been out walking since the weather is not good and I've been having trouble with my back. Anyone else feeling this way? BTW I'm a little over 8 months out.

it happens, you will get back on track in no time... you are so close! Congrats on that!

  7. Don't know if I should eat today. I dreamt I ate two pieces of cake and a piece of lemon merangue pie! Going for a long walk today just in case I gained weight from my dream!

  10. I've lost 110 pounds in 7 months. Last night, my husband told me I'm kinda getting cute again. This is a backhanded compliment, at best. I'm offended.

If he has nothing positive to say about you, I would advise him to keep his Mouth closed. ( I am trying not to sound rude ).. What it all boils down to is how we feel about our own selves. I am sure your esteem and confidence has increased. So keep working to maintain or increasing this. No one can make you feel inadequate unless you allow the to,.

      Congrats on your success.

Well, all I can say is feel proud of your fabulous accomplishment & I am in complete agreement with you...it is offensive. Though I know I may not exactly be as "cute" at my current weight as I was when I was 80lbs. Lighter, I don't need to hear it-I have a mirror, I know what I look like, & no one can beat me down better than I can myself, so I certainly don't need any help in doing so...I feel ya, and just wondering if the passive aggressi

Whoops...posted too soon...wondering if the passive aggressive comment is due to feeling just a tad threatened at how cute u actually are!!

You should edit the pic. before posting it (i.e. rotate clockwise until upright, save the doc., then post).

It's saved upright on my computer and shows upright on my after pic, just not on the profile pic.
