  8. I was sleeved on October 3rd and have lost 48 pounds since the beginning of my journey, including the 19 pounds lost before surgery. I am feeling great and just piled up some clothes to donate as they just are too big.

  11. I will be 63 in November and had my sleeve surgery on October 3rd. So far, so good
  12. 35 lbs in 2 months seems like a lot to me! Have you ever lost that much weight in that time period before your surgery? Probably not, at least I never did. Pat yourself on the back for the great weight loss and keep a positive attitude. I bet your clothes already fit better and you have more energy that before.
  13. My surgery was done on October 3rd and I was going along without much pain until 4 days after my surgery. That is when I felt like a hot knife was stuck into the muscle under my large incision (when I used that ab muscle). It is a little better but I can't pick up anything low down or put on my own shoes. Pressure on the area as I bend or twist helps somewhat but sleeping is difficult as you use those muscles to turn over. Something I can live with for a couple of weeks. Hopefully it will be gone by then. Great to have this group and to know that all these things are normal for some. Pink
  14. I am 5'11" and hope to hit 170 lbs. I was at that weight 25 years ago and was healthy and trim. I weighed 150 lbs 45 years ago but was not well and was having stomach issues ( also only 20 years old).
