  1. I need to. I need to get rid of them, but my old brain keeps thinking "what if you need them again?" I think it'll be my goal tomorrow to get rid of anything too big for me. Bc it will be too big for me forever.
  2. This surgery releases tons of estrogen, which is stored in fat. As you're losing you're going to be very emotional. Very, very normal to get emotional over the changes in your appearance. Hang in there April
  3. Not trying to sound harsh with the last post but my pain levels weren't a 3 or 4. More like a 7 or 8. I'd had 4 previous surgeries and given birth and none compared to the pain I felt with this surgery.
  4. Umm... You just got home and are in pain. You just had 85% of a major organ removed. I was in serious pain for a long time. Totally normal.
  5. I liked premier before surgery. After surgery they tasted so gross to me. It's hard to explain.
  6. Milk of mag will. All. Day. Long.
  7. Hope it gets better soon. I have my good days and bad days as well.
  8. I couldn't do bariatric advantage. The texture, the taste. Ugh. Then I'd have diarrhea all day. I think we all react to different ones in a different way.
  9. Mine are 30 cal a day and 8 carbs, but it's all I can do to almost reach my calorie goal per day so I don't worry. That's for 3 a day. Not 30 calories each
  10. I plugged my own CPAP in. It's just a little humidifier thing with a mask.
  11. Also your throat is sore from the breathing tube placed there during surgery.
  12. Wow. That's early. I'm 7 weeks out and my hair loss hasn't hit me yet.
  13. I couldn't drink after eating anything if I wanted to unless I want it to come back up. For an hour or more. I must be slow to digest.
  14. Bariatric fusion chews. They taste good and don't make me nauseous.
  15. Are you tracking your intake on MFP? If I eat too few calories I will not lose. If I eat below 600 the scale will not move. I am supposed to hit between 800-900 a day.
  16. SW 301 Day of surgery 282 Today 252 I'm 7 weeks out
  17. Congrats on the weightloss!!! You're doing great! I don't know if you like chocolate but there are "no sugar added" fudgesicles. Also you can take pepperonis and microwave them til they're crispy and they're like chips. SJ had me try that minute maid 15 calorie lemonade and it tastes like a treat.
  18. Yay!!! Pooping is like a little blessing straight from the angels' wings. The liquid protein shakes make me poop. Just figured that out.
  19. Unfortunately, I understand. But, as you'll be told, it'll get better. Hang in there.
  20. My ass is so saggy in these!!! I don't even know what size to buy. I bet I'm 2 sizes smaller

  22. Guys, try bariatric fusion soft chews. They are like a starburst. Chewy but they don't stick to your teeth. Plus, they are the first vitamin that I can take and not wanna hurl Bc of nausea
  23. Mine was laparoscopic and when I woke in recovery I was in so much pain I thought they made some type of mistake and something went wrong. This was my 5th surgery and I've never been in that amount of pain in my life.
  24. I bent and ripped internal scar tissue that caused a very significant amount of pain and I'm on 3 different meds Bc of severe nausea. That being said, I'd still do this operation a million times over. Small price to pay. I'm off BP meds and meds that controlled neuropathic pain from spinal stenosis. I've lost almost 30 pounds in 7 weeks (50 total) and feel like I actually have a future.
  25. I really thought I'd miss drinking while I ate. It really doesn't bother me. I don't get in as much liquid as I did Bc I'd guzzle throughout my meal and refill my drink at least once. But it doesn't bother me and I don't really miss it. It's just more of an inconvenience of sorts. Lol
