I went to Unity too, but I had Dr. July. My surgery was Sept 16th. All is going well thus far. How is it going for you?

Oh no, I am not ready at all. I am in Omaha for the week, wondering if MN will get it's first snowfall while I am gone. How far out from surgery are you? How has it been going for you?

Mine were not dry at all. I got four, ate two for dinner and two the next day for Breakfast.

I tried the Chik-fil-A grilled chicken nuggets the other day, surprisingly good.

I also have one I can give away. It's opened and missing about three scoops from it. If you are not concerned about an open product I can send it to anyone interested (continental US only please). It's two months old, doesn't expire until 10-18-2014. I didn't care for it, but I am picky. I am now getting most protein from foods so no longer need it, and hate to just throw it away.

I had my surgery yesterday morning (16th) and it went really well. Some discomfort from the carbon dioxide they pump you up with that enables them to do it laparoscopy. Been home a couple hours now and feeling pretty good. How did the rest of the 16ths go? I would love to keep in touch,. compare notes, and share this wonderful, scary experience. Here's to a brighter future for us all.

Hi Janie, I'm September 16th also. A week from today!!! I'm not too nervous about the surgery, just everything that comes afterwards! I'm in Minnesota. Let's keep in touch.

I am scheduled with Dr. July for Sept. 16th. I'm not nervous about the surgery at all, just the subsequent diet of liquids for three weeks. Any advice for liquids? Which protein do you like best?
