I am 4 weeks out and I take Prilosec every morning and gas x as needed and I can not stop burping! I could win some contests! I drink slowly, eat slowly etc. Is this going to last forever?

I feel the same way! I think they took it out with my stomach! Lol. It is just gone! I mean completely gone! I am very worried actually. I am 6 weeks out and want to be interested in it! -

I am out a month and I am starting to feel the same way. I am able to eat more so I am feeling hungrier? Is this head hunger? I feel like old habits are starting to inch their way into my head and I don't like it!!! I actually see a therapist twice a week because I WILL NOT go back to who I was before!! I am feeling worried. -

I agree! I was in my stall and weighing everyday sometimes twice! After reading posts I said goodbye to my scale and now only weigh once a week (that is as long as I can go). First time back on and my weight dropped! The stall is over. Give your brain a break from the scale!! -

I was sleeved 8/19. Concerns: I still have a pulling pain on the inside of my largest incision. Sometimes shooting pains. I get nauseous when I eat sometimes and sometimes start dry heaving. Good news: I was stalled for 10 days and scale started moving again! I can drink liquids with no problems. Able to take a nice big sip. -

I went to my OBGYN and she said that I have keytones in my urine from lack of carbs. I thought I wasn't suppose to have carbs? There are low carbs on water and protein. Anyone else have this come up? -

Has anyone experienced numbing in their stomach? I am numb right by my largest incision. It's a pretty big area. Anyone? -
I am drinking the premier protein from Costco. I have not thought about that. I so hope not bc they are the only thing I like!

I could not sleep in my bed for almost a week after surgery. I went from recliner to couch and back again several times a night. The first few nights back in bed I was up constantly walking to get the gas to settle and would end up in the recliner. It finally got better. I sleep in my bed and can turn from side to side and even sleep in my stomach. I am 3 weeks out. Good luck. Every day I have to keep telling myself to give it time! -

That is exactly how I feel Neal! I have lost 18 lbs since surgery aug 19 but I am in my stall and i am feeling like I am doing something wrong. I have not lost anything in almost a week. I have tried and failed so many times I feel like this is going to be the same thing. I am going to be the one person on here that this does not work for! I can't fail at this. -
Sleeved in the 19th. I had thrush after surgery-it went away a week after surgery. I then noticed itching under my breasts and thought yeast infection. Tried OTC meds and still there. Then got vaginal yeast infection. Went to my surgeon and he gave me a script (Fluconazole 150Mg) which is generic diflucan for 3 days and said it would clear up both. Took last pill 2 days ago and it is worse!! I can't seem to get rid of it????

I was sleeved on the 19th and that is the only pain I have. Soreness and pain to the right of my belly button. Had 2 follow ups and at both they told me it was completely normal. That is could take 6 weeks or more to settle down. Good luck! -
I too am a food addict and if feels great to have the control back! I used to live to eat and now I EAT TO LIVE!!!
