  6. Black Diamond, I implore you to stay hydrated if nothing else because dehydration will land you in the ER. It will get better. Trust me. Sip on water if you can't tolerate much else, it isopure. I used to get a straw for isopure because it tastes like crap, but the protein is what I was after. You will make it through this. I have lost 80lbs and none of it was easy.
  7. Hang in there. Don't give in to your cravings. They will pass. I am 8 months out and I realize that those cravings are in my mind. Drink some water or a protein shake. It will so the trick. I had my surgery right before Christmas and it was torture because I wanted to taste everything. Be strong, you can do it, DIVA STYLE!

  9. I agree, you have to force yourself to wait 30 minutes before drinking. We have to remember that we have to change our way of thinking. The unhealthy way we used to eat, must be thrown away. Be encouraged, you took the biggest step with surgery, now you have to WORK THAT THANG DIVA STYLE!!!!
  10. I was so concerned about not getting my protein because I just couldn't tolerate much. The most important thing is that you stay hydrated!! Don't worry, as your stomach heals you will be able to tolerate more foods. I am 8 months out. I am so happy with how things have turned out.
