  3. Hello all! I have been sleeved for 10 days now. I am back at work in my classroom, and I have a Keurig coffee maker. I sooooooo want to drink a bit of my french vanilla or hazelnut flavored coffee!!!! When can I start sipping on some coffee?? I add no sugar or cream. I loveee coffee just miss it so much. Happy Friday to you all!!
  4. I have heard so many people talk about Isopure or something like that. What exactly is it? Can it be used instead of the dreaded protein shakes? I am 1.5 week post sleeved
  5. My back has been doing a number on me today! Anyone experienced that? i am 6 days out from my gastric sleeve.
  6. I have always slept on my stomach, the past almost week since surgery I have became a back sleeper . It has not been as bad as I thought, but I wonder when I can sleep on my tummy again. I do miss it:(
  7. I am on the same boat, my Protein shakes are horrible! I have some left over OptinFast Meal Replacements that my doc gave me, so I am using that. I use room temp Water and it seems to go down easier. I would say to use a strawberry flavored protein, I imagine it is Nestle Quick strawberry
  8. Best of luck! I had mine last Sept 10. My best advice is to be calm, I stayed calm up until I was put asleep. The hardest thing was the gas pressure after surgery. My pain was low, a 4 out of 10 the first hours then a 2 out of 10 the following day. Hope everything goes well!

  10. thank you all! Just got home and had my dad pat me on my back like a baby and it worked lol! ja! my 3rd nephew will be born this week, I guess they will have to burp both of us jajajaj.
  11. Finally got sleeved yesterday but today I have had hiccups for over 30 mins! I got discharged an hour ago. how can I make these damn hiccups stop?
  12. I am on day5 of the liquid diet, My doc gave me Optifast 5x a day and I feel ok. Not bad at all! People say it is the hardest part, so for me it has been very nice.
  13. I am a stomach sleeper. If I sleep on my back or side, I can't sleep. Will I be able to sleep on my stomach right after surgery??
  14. I am scheduled on Sep 10 at 3:30 pm in San Jose, Ca , i can go with out eating that day but no water???
