Surgery 11/19/13 HW: 218 5'4 SW : 210 CW: 164 Total weight loss of 52 pounds. It's not been easy but loving my sleeve!

Just found this. I'm in chico too. Sleeved by dr. Simchuch (Ludwig assisted). Who was your surgeon and how are you doing? I was sleeved by DR. Simchuk also on 11/19.

Sleeved 11/19.. Have only lost 21 pounds total since 11/9 with my pre op diet. Lost it all in two weeks because I haven't lost anything in the last 13 days. Called my doc and he set me up with my nutritionist next week. So frustrating to work out .. Drink fluids like crazy .. Eat 500 cal a day and lose nothing . It's heartbreaking . Hope this stall ends soon.

Hi Jen! I was sleeved on 11/19. I am also only down 22pounds since pre op and surgery . I have not lost any weight in almost two weeks. I am getting a little nervous about it but I keep chugging forward . Eating right .. Going to the gym. Don't have to go back to work until the new year. This stall has been awful! I just keep hoping it will end soon !

I am three weeks out.. SW 205 current weight 192. I really thought I would have lost more . I haven't lost anything in a week and a half . It's making me a bit depressed and worried that I am the "one" this surgery won't work for. Following my diet. Walking daily. Just makes me a but sad????

Have chronic back pain and had microdiscecomy 18 months ago with okay results. For folks who have been sleeved.. Did your back pain get better or go away after surgery? I am hoping my pain will decrease !! I am so sick of being in pain !❤️

Nov 19th!! On day three of my liquid diet!! Hungry!!

*i won't miss holding my breath when I tie my shoes *getting winded going up stairs *working a 12hr shift and not feeling like death has rolled over me *buying clothes off a rack that are cute and age appropriate *skiing again... *being comfortable In a bathing suit *being able to dance all night long with the hubs!!❤️

I would not eat your way to a BMI of 40. Call your insurance. Get a letter from your PCP saying they recommend the surgery. See if you can start meds for your cholesterol and get a cpap. Gaining more weight is not the answer.

No shaving!! They will clip you at the hospital ! Shaving can cause open areas to your skin and you are at higher risk for infection!!

I also have my EGD tomorrow!! I am just ready to get this show on the road! They won't set my date until they do the EGD! Looks like the end of Nov unless someone backs out!!

I am telling everyone !! They all think I am crazy and not that over weight. I am nurse and getting surgery where I work. I just can't lie to people and I really don't care what others think !!

In your consent for surgery did it say anything about fixing a hernia?? If not you don't have to pay .most likely you will have I pay. Just give them 20 bucks a month and they can't send you to collections. what a bummer!!

I get that all the time too. I am 5'4 and 215 pounds. I have tried everything to lose weight and it won't come off . Now I have herniated disks in my back that cause me a great deal of pain. When I tell people about getting surgery they roll their eyes and tell me to eat less. If it was that easy we would all be thin. I now can give a frick what others think. This surgery if for me! ❤️ Good luck babe!
