  1. Hubby and I did lots of research looking for a doc that has a good reputation, a good surgen and at a reasonable cost as we were self pay. We found Dr. Dirk Rodriguez in Dallas Texas. Absolutely loved him and his office staff. Would use him again.

  3. Hi Nat!! How did your surgery go? How are you feeling? We are doing pretty good today!! Still having some stomach spasms when I eat or drink. But walking and trying to drink enough. Hope all is good with you!!!!

  5. Surgery went great!!! Still having some stomach spasms but feel pretty good over all. Haven't been able to get in all the fluids or protein. But that will come in time. The best part both of us have already lost 10 lbs since our weigh in on Thursday morning. Love being on the losers bench!! And Sandy you will be there with us soon!!!!
  6. How are you feeling? Not to bad!!! If I move around to much my tiny tummy hurts Sort of like spasms. I have been sleeping a lot!!! Keeping fluids down. And ambulating with out prob. My incision sites are not sore at all. My husband seems to be feeling better than I am.

  9. I can't believe the day is here. hubby and I are scheduled for 7:00 and 8:45 tomorrow morning!!!! I can't believe the hospital has no semi-private rooms. We will be in different rooms!!!!!!!! So excited and a little nervous!!
  10. We are having our surgery at Forest Park in Dallas. Only a few min from our house. Have a safe trip!!!!! And good luck hope all goes great for both of us!!! Let me know.

  13. I know!! We are lucky on not having a pre op diet. But OH MY GOSH!!!! Have we eaten the past 2 weeks. Crazy!!;
  14. I guess I'm the first surgery of the year!!!!! Wonder if I get lots of gifts like the first baby gets!!!!!! Lol Mine is this Thursday Jan 2nd.
