Good video.

Is anyone else having a hard time not drinking with meals? I start my pre-op diet in a week and this is the only thing that I am having problems with so far. Breads and sodas haven't been a problem so far, but not having water with lunch is incredibly hard to get past for some reason.

September 23rd for me, in Overland Park, KS. Seems like everything is happening so fast. I get a little nervous if I spend time and start thinking about it. I have 4 kids so that is constantly on my mind (what if I am the 1%). I try not to think that way though, try to stay more positive. All in all the wife is being really supportive and looking forward to the new me!!!

Stupid phone... I've been dyeing to ask this, on the Protein shakes can you mix them with skim milk or is it just Water. That is going to make a big difference as far as how I can handle the shakes.

I am eventually going to start my preop diet ( my date is late September)

I've been browsing these forums for about a month trying to get my finger on what actually goes on with the sleeve. With the information that I have learned from you guys, I have decided that when it finally happens, the sleeve is the way I want to go. I have had my initial consultation, and done the psych eval and just completed the upper GI requested by the surgeon last week. Now I am patiently waiting for the next step... hopefully I will hear something from them soon.
