  1. About 2 weeks before my surgery I started kind of freaking out thinking what happens if I'm ugly afterwards??? I don't think I'm ugly now and my friends and family assured me that I wouldn't be. Hope they weren't just being nice ????
  2. Yep - cream of wheat and puréed soups. I did add some chocolate peanut butter protein powder to my cream of wheat this morning to change it up a bit. I'm on day 10 and REALLY need some variety
  3. I had surgery on the 22nd and I feel like I could totally go back to work now - I have a mostly deal job. I took 3 weeks off though just in case
  4. Not too much yet - about 20 minutes a day. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  5. I'm about 12 lbs down so far. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  6. Glad I'm not the only one. I'm 10 days post op and I haven't felt full either. I almost wanted to call my surgeon yesterday and ask how big he REALLY left my stomach. Lol. I think I'm being overly cautious with the food though - I'm scared I'll pop a staple! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  7. He probably meant sorry about pushing the side on you.
  8. The day before my surgery I woke up crying and couldn't stop all day because of thinking about the what ifs. I wrote letters to both of my kids and left them with my mom (along with a letter for her with some instructions). Made me feel a tiny bit better. But knowing the biggest risk was me continuing to be obese really helped me get through
  9. Awesome!!! I just weighed myself at home and if I can trust my scale (that's a big if) I'm about 10 lbs down and I'm 1 week PO today.
  10. OMG I waited almost two years for my surgery and in that time, I think I told every person I talked to. Lol. People are going to see a drastic weight loss so why not be upfront about it!
  11. I'm now 3 days post op and very excited to start this new chapter of my life. I haven't had too much pain and I'm moving around really well. I find that I can't even eat a full 4 oz of Soup yet but I've been doing ok drinking Water in small amounts throughout the day. It's so great to be able to read about all of your successes as I really dig in to my own journey. Keep it coming! Robyn Sent from my iPhone using VST
