Hello my fellow Sept sleepers. I am two weeks post op and only dropped 10lbs. Is this normal? I feel my body is soo stubborn which has been my issue all my life. I am still on liquid diet and have started soft foods yet.

I was sleeved on Sept 16. The surgery was a success. My tough time was coming off the anesthesia. All in all I am feeling great. I am up walking. I am drinking my chicken broth And eating jello. God is sooo good.

My approval came in today. Sooo excited. September 16th. Here we go!

My papers were submitted toy insurance company last Friday. My tentative surgery date is Sept 16. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I have my psych evaluation tomorrow. What should I expect?

Hello all. Happy to find a page for African Americans. I just started my journey. My insurance requirements seem pretty common 5 year weight history, psyche and nutrition eval, chest X-ray and a letter from my pcp. My Bmi is 40 and I have hypertension. I will finalize all the insurance requirements by Aug 1st and pray to be sleeved mid September. For those who have been sleeved how gas your skin recovered from the weight loss. I'm no nervous about the extra skin ganging from my arms.

What insurance do you have. Feeling nervous about approval.
