  1. I am 66, I had my sleeve done in Mexico on 9/9/13. The day of surgery I was 204 LBS, today I am 189 LBS. Of coarse I thought it would come off a little faster, but hey no complaints. I seem to really get tired about 4:00 pm, go take a nap. I am suppose to go to a big party Nov.1. Our friends are going to pick us up at the airport and we always go to the Buffet, they do not know about the sleeve and I don't want anyone but my close family know. So I don't know how it is going to work out. What to eat? Anyone been in that predicament before? How did you handle it? I am really excited about the future weight lose, the amount of food I am eating, it has to come off, maybe not as fast as I like, but it will come off. Congratulation to all of you for getting the sleeve, and to your healthy future. I believe we all made the right choice.

  3. Had my surgery on the 9th as well. I was treated very well also, Dr. Quinones in Tijuana. Since I have gotten home, I have been pretty weak and had nausea. Nothing that I try to drink seems good, except water. but looking forward to better days. How have you been at home?
  4. Thanks for sharing with everyone. The taste bud thing is very interesting to say the least. Keep on LOSING
  5. Sept. 9th. Going to Tijuana, Dr. Quinones. I live in Southern Ca. so it is only a 1 1/2 hour drive to Mexico. I have been to Mexico several time, and I feel real comfortable going there. I have Dentist there that is very good, and a lot less then in the US. A lot of people go there from Southern CA. EXCITED
  6. I have stayed at the Grade Hotel in Tijuana several times. I have used my credit card every time, and have had NO problems at all.
  7. I am going to be Sleeved Sept. 9th. I have been told that your Taste Buds change. Things you use to like to eat, now you don't care for anymore. I find that very interesting. So tell me about your Taste Buds? Did they change at all. Or do you like things that you never before would have eaten.
  8. So now you are sleeved, your spouse want to go out to eat? How is that going for you? And he invites others to go with you? How are you dealing with that. I will be getting my Sleeve in about 3-4 weeks in Tijuana. Thanks for all your in put, and comments. I am sure there has been some exciting times in the restaurants.
