I dislike eggs now too. I am two weeks out and I have scrambled, kinda fried, and egg salad and it just isn't right. Just bout all foods make my tummy grumble loudly now. Doc said today I could have decaf coffee, I was so excited and it tasted like crap I LOVED my coffee
  6. I didn't kmow I had a hitial hernia until I woke up. Not sure how it changed my healing but today is the first day (surgery oct. 7th) that I feel good. I slept pretty much thru the night, I didn't have to go to the couch. As I eat my throat doesn't hurt but my stomach lets me know if it doesn't agree with the food or to slow down.

  8. We were required to stay two nights at the hospital, it is part of the requirements. I had no choice to take the oxygen off, if I fid they would come in and put it back on and I walked from the beginning, around and around I would go. Everyone is so very different in how they heal.

Yesterday was the worst day but I am better today however I will not he returning to work tommorrow. I have to hold my insicion that the stomach came out of, and I cannot bend. I sit at a dedk but I have to get up constantly and bend for files. Good luck tommorrow!

  12. My insurance allows for short term disability so my first week is pto and two weeks after the short term covers. my hospital would only allow four weeks off total for sleeve. So I'm taking 3weeks to get myself mentally and physically ready to go back
