I have a question. Has anyone's shoe size gotten smaller with weight loss?

Sorry if this is a repeat question. I know everyone's recovery time is different, so I was just trying to get an idea how long it was necessary to be off work. I have a desk job btw. Thanks for your input. I was thinking 3 weeks, us that realistic?

I totally agree. I have a cousin dead set against it. She has a friend that had complications from RNY and she is just naturally tiny. She had breast augmentation and a nose job. I don't plan on sharing my surgery with my family. If it ever does come out and I get confronted about it I will be sure to use this argument.

I have my first dr visit on Friday. It's all I thin about too. I feel quite obsessed! I have started practicing eating slower and taking smaller bites. I drunk lots of water already. My insurance doesn't require the 6 month pre op diet plan so I'm hoping it will move quickly. Dang, I hope I didn't just jinx myself. Happy journey!!

Who is doing your surgery ?

Hello everyone! This is my first post! I have been lurking???? for a little while. This place is great and I am so thankful I found it. Soooo much information. I have my drs appt on Friday. I work for the healthcare system where I will be having the surgery. I feel certain I will be approved. There is no pre surgery weight loss req. I have limited info from the seminar and will learn much on Friday. I did tell my husband and he is supportive. I plan on telling no one else. So glad to have the support here. So hello!! I'm getting excited. I was one of those judgmental people years ago, but I think it was just jealousy. Plus things have changed over the years and all I knew about was the RNY. I am so ready to take back control of my life!! Quick ? How do I get added on to some if the specialty forums, specifically the area forums? Thanks!!
