  2. Hi I have been an RN for 8 years......the first 4 on. Cardiac stepdown unit and for the past 4 years I'm in the emergency room.....I had a lapband in December of 2008 and had it removed emergently removed due to erosion and almost perforation in July of 2011.....I finally have gained the courage to have the sleeve and I am scheduled on Aug 29th by a wonderful surgeon....I decided that I am going to take 2 months off to recover and to be able to handle my phases properly......good luck to everyone

  18. I had my bad removed emergent due to erosion 2 years ago....I'm now waiting for my sleeve which will hopefully be at the end of August.....fortunately my insurance company only needed a letter from my surgeon telling them about the eroded band....my surgeons office is submitting everything tomorrow and hopefully I will hear something by the end of the week
  19. I have not been sleeved yet but I used to have the band.....don't be so hard on yourself.....just do better tomorrow....it's very hard to break old habits and its about learning a new lifestyle....you will have days that you are not perfect, we all will.....just pick up your head and keep moving forward.....
