  1. I think I'm going to try beano or gasx. It's crazy. And embarrassing. ???? Sent from my iPhone using VST
  2. Hi guys. Anyone else having major gas? I'm 2 months out and the gas is crazy. It doesn't smell but sometimes I can't even hold it. Today one slipped at my coworkers desk, thank god we are really close. Suggestions? Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using VST

  7. I was sleeved on the 10th. I find all the broths nasty so I found a recipe. 2 regular sized cans of chicken broth, 2 scallions cut into long pieces, 2 tbs soy sauce and a piece of ginger. Simmer for 10 minutes. Much better tasting. A bit more sodium but at this point who cares. I can't get enough Water in either. I hate the Protein Shakes and the Vitamins make me ill, hate the chalkiness. Ughh. Hope my body doesn't conk out on me before 7/1. That's my three week mark and I can eat mushy foods. That day can't come soon enough. Sent from my iPhone using VST

  10. I'm already thinking of my mushy stage. Does anyone know if pressure cooked foods are ok? Do the meats get soft enough? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using VST
  11. Try using a heating pad. I've used mine since I came home on Tuesday and its great. I've been sleeping on my side since I was moved to my room in the hospital. Also try cuddling a pillow to your tummy. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  12. And they gave me swabs... With a cup of Water to dip the swabs in. Strange. Sent from my iPhone using VST
  13. Hmmm I wonder if I was supposed to spit out my ice. No one told me that. Oops.... Sent from my iPhone using VST
  14. My bp was high in the hospital, they said it may have been from the anesthesia. It's been a bit high since I left on Tuesday but was finally coming down yesterday. I am still taking my meds. I really hope I can get off the meds .... But high bp runs in the family. ???? Sent from my iPhone using VST
  15. I had to wait but they finally let me have ice chips the night of my surgery. Ice never tasted so good! Sent from my iPhone using VST

  18. I had my sleeve done on Monday. The gas pains are crazy and I'm having a horrible time crushing my meds, they are so bitter. That being said, I'm not hungry but my mouth and mind are. I keep wondering if I made a mistake, but no going back now...
