  4. yes, my doctor don't want me to give up I'm just really disappointed at the moment.
  5. they could not get my abdomen extended enough to see the stomach, and with my weight it was to dangerous to open.
  6. So in June I start the process I weighed 565 over the last 6 months I've gotten down to 490. Did a 4 week liquid diet, surgery was yesterday, they got in there and could not complete surgery. Feel like giving up. I want this but don't know if I can do it anymore.

  9. super excised, can't believe the 30th is almost here, have to be at the hospital at 5:30 Monday. Did anyone have institutions of not drinking or eating anything red the day before surgery?

  17. I have not started it and my surgeon and pcp felt that it would be best to wait til after surgery to start it, so that what I'm doing, i've lived with psoriasis this long, couple more months won't make a difference.

  22. I went to my 1st support group, meet someone from this group, we have the same date and doctor, it's a crazy small world.
  23. Well, hello everyone. Our group is so big, it's all so exciting! So I had a doctors appointment on the 21st and he is having me do a 4 week liquid diet, so on December 2 I start my preop diet of protein shakes, fat free broth, sf jello and popsicles and calorie free clear liquids.

  27. my BMI is over 50, but my doctor isn't having me do any pulmonary tests. Then it seems every doctor is different.
