  1. Hi Misscee, I hope you are well. I am 3 days post-op and trying to figure my liquids out too. I've been journaling but I fell like I can't get enough liquids in. Have a good day
  2. Best of luck to you.
  3. Hi everyone. Was sleeved last Thursday and doing fine. Good luck to future sleevers out there
  4. Leaving now for surgery. Thanks for all the well wishes
  5. That's fabulous!!!!! Congratulations you look great
  6. Me too Kennedy, see you on the other side
  7. Yes we are Kennedy. We only get one shot on this big rock in the sky
  8. It's nice to know I'm not alone. I too have sciatic nerve problems among other things. Your words have inspired me and I thank you for that. It was a nice post to read right before bed. I am like you, I do not mess with any of my perfectly functioning organs, but this body is not working and processing the way it used to and drastic times call for drastic measures. Please let me know when your date of surgery is because I would like to cheer you on as well. Sounds like you are from the UK. That would be great because I know a little cockney slang. Thanks again for your support and I will let you know how it all goes!!! jeanie
  9. That's for the well wishes jayker. I WILL be confident! The same to you on the 23rd
  10. Thank you for your words. Your story is similar to mine except I'm a little older. I am with you, I am terrified of what will happen if I don't. Thank you for your support. I know this is a personal decision that deep down inside I know is right for me. I wish you luck on your journey too. hugs xxx jeanie
  11. Thanks for your input! I totally understand and agree. I want to keep my job & play with grandkids too! I want to Rock-N-Roll too ! LOL Thanks jayker p.s. are you sleeved?
  12. What is that for? Did you get sleeved today? I thought your day was tomorrow the same as mine?
  13. Mine is tomorrow too . Can someone tell me what is the most important fluids to get down the first 2 days? Just water, or something with protein in it?
  14. Try to focus on all the great things afterwards, like being healthy & happy ! I will join you tomorrow, mine is at 1pm
  15. Wow, that's great ! I hope tomorrow goes the same for me!
  16. Thank you so much. Sorry you had complications, but very happy that you have a new lease on life! I will Go !!! LOL

  19. Welcome to the group Bellestar. I had my egd a couple days ago and it went fine. No pain afterwards at all, throat just felt a little funny , that's all.
  20. Bless you You brightened my day. I feel that way on the inside but my thoughts get in the way. I want desperately to be healthy and not have to worry about leaving this world to young. I'm not done yet!!!! lol Thank you and have a beautiful day
  21. Only my family knows. I guess the judging is mainly coming from myself. Thanks for your words.
  22. I wish you a speedy recovery Ladybug! I'll be thinking of you today. Thanks for the return prayers, I appreciate it <3
  23. Tomorrow is my big day but still have a small bit of doubt ! My BMI is kind of low (36), but it has been that way for 20+ years despite all my dieting efforts. My husband & I are fine with my size & looks, but it's by far not about that ! I am 51, have severe sleep apnea, recently diagnosed with T2 Diabetes and have been on high BP meds for a few years. I know in my heart this is the right thing but I'm afraid of being judged or judging myself for not trying harder at the gym. After working 40+ hours a week, I'll admit , the gym wasn't a happy place for me. I appreciate any thoughts. last minute jitters I guess
  24. Prayers for you ladybug!!!! See you on the other side !
  25. Happy day for you! Good luck
