  1. I was sleeved at Southern Surgical in Slidell by Dr French. Great experience as well. No hernia repair for me but how you feeling otherwise? My stats are: SW: 230 6/6/13 CW: 193 8/22/13 5' 3.5"
  2. Hi Janet! Welcome! Just curious, Where were you sleeved?
  3. I was sleeved 6/6/13 & was 230. I'm now 11 weeks post op & I'm down to 193. 37 lbs lost. I do 30 mins minimum on the treadmill or elliptical. If treadmill I do 1 minute sprints every 4 minutes. If doing the elliptical the resistance & climb go up & down for 4 minute intervals each. Then I do strength training. Abs, arms & legs for about 30 mins. I do this 5 days a week. I'm freaking out seeing people who have gotten to a goal of 100 lbs lost in six months. I don't see myself getting to goal in six months. My suggested BMI is 125 lbs. It took me two weeks to get from 194 to 193! Don't know how they're doing it. If you find out let me know...

  5. 11 days? You've already waited too long. Lol
  6. That is so awesome your insurance covered it! What was your surgery weight & how long did it take you to get where you're at now?
  7. Do you mind me asking where you got it done & how much it cost you? Congrats! Looks awesome!
  8. I found the B complex plus B12 sublingual at Dollar General
  9. Dr French did my surgery at Southern Surgical in Slidell!
  10. http://www.kitchentablebakers.com/products_agedparmesan.php I've included a picture of the nutritional facts of pork rinds & the link to the Parmesan crips nutritional facts. Considering you can't eat much its not too bad for either....in my opinion.....
  11. I use pork rinds (Protien) & my husband uses cucumber slices.
  12. I haven't slept on my stomach in YEARS. Feel like my tits are strangling me! Sleeping on my stomach again is a goal of mine. I used to sleep so good on my stomach......(sigh)
  13. Go to Popeyes & get a large red bean no rice & call it lunch & dinner. :0p
  14. What's a pannis and/or pannus?
  15. I LOVE that cat! (Your profile pic)
  16. I'm 5' 3.5" sleeved June 6th, 2013 SW: 230 CW: 194 I'm currently working out at least 5 days a week. 30 mins of treadmill, minimum speed 3.5 (w/ intermittent sprints) or 30 mins of elliptical & 30 minutes of strength training (weight lifting). I eat approx 800 calories & 70 grams of Protein a day. I wish I would lose faster but I know I'm building muscle as well. I believe average weight loss after your first month or two is 6-10lbs a month. It drives me bonkers when I see someone post that they've lost 100 lbs in 6 mos.
  17. I've dreamed of becoming a flight attendant but never pursued it because of my size & I figured it wouldn't be conducive to raising my children. You'd really need a supportive family willing to help out with kiddos. How do you like it? Do you get to travel all over? I want to travel EVERYWHERE! Im stuck in a cubicle for 40 hours a week crunching numbers.....
  18. Time to find your favorite protein shake. Congrats!
  19. Congrats! Time to find your favorite protein shake now. Good luck! You can relax now. Lol. BTW, I recommend Premier Protein shakes from SAM's club.
