  1. Looking for people to connect with in Minnesota.
  2. I had Dr. Drew in Minnesota. He was amazing. I use ridgeview medical. I was extremely happy with the whole clinic. There is another doctor at the clinic named Dr. Chute. From what I heard he is really amazing too. They both pay really close attention to detail.
  3. I'm single and 3.5 weeks post op. living in MN.
  4. I have ten days until I can move on to purée foods. I cannot wait. I will be on that for one week, then move on to soft foods for three. I wish that I could already be off of liquids. When it is all said and done, I will have been on liquids for 6 weeks. Has anyone made any good foods on the purée part if their journey? If so, can you share them please?
  5. It's crazy that people are being told different things
  6. I was sleeved June 19th. How long is/was on the post op liquid diet? I have been on it for 2 weeks and still have 2 left.
  7. Ya my doctor told me to drink room temp water because it will be easier on your stomach and less likely to send your stomach into a spasm
  8. I forgot to mention I use the powder peanut butter in some of my protein drinks. It gives some added flavor and helps change it up, so I don't get sick of the flavors
  9. My normal day is pretty boring. I'm not allowed to go back to work for 4 to 6 weeks. I'm on a liquid diet till July 18th which consists of broth, thinned out cream Soup, 1% milk, Protein drinks, Water and sugar free Popsicles and that's all my doctor will allow. I go on short walks and then I'm pretty wiped for the day. I drink about 60 grams of protein. One in the morning and one at night. I use the SMART Protein Powder drinks and mix it with milk. They are by far the best I have ever had. Many other brands I could not stand or they would make my stomach hurt really bad. I easily get my water in. I drink it through out the day, I get about 64 to 70 oz in a day. I eat mainly cheese soup thinned out with milk and spaghettio's sauce with unflavored protein powder in it. I drain the sauce from the noodles.
  10. Have you heard of or used powder peanut butter? I believe it's called P2B. It's pretty good and adds a little extra flavor
  11. I use milk to thin mine out. That way I'm also getting protein with it. It is one of the soups I have been living off of since I have been able to eat the cream soups.
  12. How much did your doctor tell you to eat? I was told that I could eat 2 tablespoons to 1/2 cup of food.
  13. I also had my sleeve done on the 19th. I feel like the way you described the days after are so extremely close to mine.
  14. Just had my surgery on June 19th in Waconia. Dr Drew was my surgeon and he is amazing. I live in Minnesota and I'm 28.
  15. I'm a few days post op and I have to be on a liquid diet for 4 weeks! They told me that, if I have issues with a stage to revert back to the previous stage for two to three days.
  16. They are called SMART. I love the chocolate mint one. They have a strawberry one, a mocha and some other ones. I get them from a place called complete nutrition and they let you try them before you buy them.
  17. SMART protein powder
  18. I buy these SMART protein powder drinks from complete nutrition and they are the best shakes I have ever tried! I'm really picky when it comes to these things
  19. Just had surgery on Wednesday and have to be on a liquid diet for 4 more weeks. Can anyone recommend anything good to eat besides protein drinks and soup. I love my protein drinks. If anyone would like to know the name I would love to share the name of them with anyone.
  20. I have not had gas pains yet, but my doctor told me to take gas x if I did get gas pains
