This question is for people with a medical card in Illinois. Can you tell me your process with it like from start to finish. Is it longer than six months. And how long does approval takes? Thanks any comments are welcomed.

Had my sleep study last night. And can i say horrible. And it looks like I have a mild case of sleep apena. Which now means cpap machine. Hope it doesn't mess with my surgery.

Ashleio 84 well it all depends on your insurance. I have to meet with the nut for six straight months, before i can get approval for surgery. Psy,bari,surg,nut, plus different test.

Hello everyone I'm going threw my nut appointment right now. I have a question after surgery does your calf size change. Right now my calf size is around a 22. I pray they go down after surgery.

Hello today I had my first appointment with the nut. And what she told me was i won't be able to get a surgery date until maybe the first of the year. And if i miss one appointment with her. I will have to start all over again another six months. She also said your month start from the first day you meet with her.

I Shelly are you in Chicago. Everything will be fine just remember why your having the surgery.

Hello everyone I'm in Chicago also i just got my call for appointments. They all are scheduled for this month and next month, will be having surgery at Loyola. Wish everyone a safe surgery and fast recovery.

The surgeon order the test. My guess is to make sure I'm healthy enough for surgery.

I haven't even met the Nut yet ! I have to have a Egd,ultrasound, Sleep and Esophagram. I will do whatever it takes.

I just had my first meeting last week. Can anyone tell me how fast it goes with meeting the other doctors? Finally got my referral, can't wait to hopefully start on a new journey. Anyone from Chicago?
