Now I'm just trying to find a protein shake that tastes half decent maybe flavorless one so I can add it into things I like smoothies so one that's good for blending any suggestions and don't forget I'm in Canada! Not sure if the states would have the same brands of protein shakes as in Canada?

  6. Dr. Sampath is really really good he did my surgery on May 30, The Garrett Center is the wellness center that is run in coordination with him and is a really good center.
  7. Hey I'm from Chilliwack just looking for people that are from around the lower mainland and Fraser Valley that are going to go have a vertical sleeve done or have already had surgery. I had surgery May 30th which makes me 3 Weeks post op.
  8. I am newly signed up to MFP but I am thrown off because its suggested cal a day for me is WAY HIGH! Like over 1700..... And I am worried that the other recommended intakes aren't accurate. Too bad there wasn't a MFP for sleeved people.
  9. I also Had my operation me 30th as of today I am down 15 pounds I am averaging a pound a day that I am losing. But since the start of my two week pre-op diet till today I am down 24 pounds. I'm hoping once i can be more active the weight will come off quite quick.
  10. I was sleeved may 30 th, 2013..... What is our calorie intake suppose to be at 2 week post op?? Any ideas out there, was just going to call the dietician tomorrow.
  11. Maybe try increasing your liquids. How post op are you?
  12. My Start weight was 328 pounds and I am 5 foot four, I am from Canada and had a two week liquid diet prior to surgery, On the day of surgery May 30, 2013 I weighed in at 318 pounds. I have been losing approximately 1 pound a day, today i i am weigh 305 pounds!! I hope the weight continues to drop daily even weekly.
  13. Chilliwack , British Columbia CANADA..... Had surgery in Richmond BC on May 30th
  14. Since starting my pre op diet May 16 to today June 6 th, i am down a total of 19 pounds!! In the 1 week since surgery I am down 7 pounds...... So about a pound a day. Not sure if this is normal or not but I am happy so far with this progression.
  15. I hadn't had a BM 2 days prior to surgery then 3 days in hospital then 2 days home.... Finally ! Pretty horrid you are right but feel much better and hope I doesn't continue.

  17. Nothing could have prepared me for this pain and discomfort! Feels like nothing will fit in my stomach, swallow and it does go down or bubbles back up.
  18. In 1.5hrs I need to be at the hospital to get ready for surgery at 10am!! So nervous, scared am I going to regret this? Probably not but its always a thought.
  19. Hey I'm just two days out before I have surgery looking for anybody that is from British Columbia Canada that has had surgery.
  20. My weight is over two more days and I am having surgery and i am excited scared and nervous I cannot wait to finally start the transformation to the new me!
